2016 Bengals Bold Predictions
#1
Last year a lot of my bold predictions came true (even though it was met with criticism before the season), so I'm going to try to get just as many right this year. Here are my bold predictions for the Bengals 2015 season.

The defense will be in the top 5 or better
The defense will have at least 44 sacks
The defense will have at least 19 INTs
The offense will be in the top 7 or better
AJ Green will have 1500+ yards and 14+ TDs
Eifert will have 800+ yards and 12+ TDs
Boyd and LaFell will both have at least 600 yards
Dalton will throw for 4400+ yards and 34+ TDs
Dalton will have 11 or less INTs
Jeremy Hill will only lose 1 fumble in the regular season
Gio Bernard will have at least 1100 all purpose yards and 8 total TDs
Bengals sweep the division
Bengals get a first round bye

The Bengals are going to dish out a bunch of pain and the Steelers are going to b*tch about it.

The Bengals will win double digit games.(12-4)

Bengals will play as a dominent team. They will enter games knowing they are going to win. And eveybody else will know it too - - including the other team.

Hill and Gio are going to be big. Both over 4.0 ypc.

The Bengals are going to be a STEAM ROLLER this year.

WHO DEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My bold prediction is someone will make a regular prediction and it'll come true!
My regular prediction: They'll win some and lose some.. I dunno..that might qualify as bold.. Yeah..definitely bold. You can even quote me on it which will make me look bad if they win every single game, super bowl included..

- Hill averages 4.3 YPC or better and (again) fumbles 3 or fewer times
- LaFell almost completely replaces MLJ's production with 700+ yards and 4+ TDs
- Margus Hunt gets close to a QB...once
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

Hill bounces back in big way and Bengals running game dominates this year.

Dennard turns into the first round selection we wanted him to be.

Bengals destroy steelers in both games.

Dalton starts getting mentioned in same breath as the very best in league by national media.

Boyd shines brighter than Lafell by a long shot when it is said and done at seasons end.

Both Bengals offense and defense are ranked in top 3.

Shawn Williams wins SB MVP.

I don't care if he loses 10 in the regular season as long as he doesn't lose any in the playoffs.

That's an excessive amount of fumbles...

Mine are team based predictions/hopes.

Bold predictions Offense:
Marvin Lewis (hopefully) becomes more aggressive with production on yards. (Which in turn allows the following)
-A 600+ most yards gained in a game, it could happen to a couple of teams we face this season if this team decides to keep the foot on the throat. (Which in turn if it happens in multiple games-could turn into the following)
-A 6000+ most yards gained season.
-A streak of 400+ yards for a consecutive 10 games+ (the easy math, if this can be done averaging 400+ over 16 regular season games 6400 yard season)

Bold predictions Defense:
-120 1st downs allowed all season. (Washington allowed only 82 first downs in 1937. On average 7.5 first downs allowed a game.)
-1200 rushing yards allowed all season. (Bold is BOLD. Averaging 75 yards a games)
-71 combined sacks for the season. (Averages 4.5 sacks a game. Minnesota broke 71 sacks a season in 1989.)
-10+ sacks in a regular season game.

Running game hits stride, goes 4.5 YPC
Tyler Boyd has 50 receptions
Gio has 50 receptions
Nick Vigil starts by midseason in nickel
Margus Hunt gets 9 sacks (you did say BOLD)
Rothlisburger gets divorced when his wife gives birth to Burfict's son

Injuries will devastate them, even worse than the Ravens last year. So much so they trade McCarron for injury replacements, in the eleventh hour of the deadline. Needless to say, they will end up with a losing season.

I'm both confused AND amused at this:
