Phillips is down as a returner, but as a CB PFF had him ranked as having a great game.

I'd say Phillips down as a returner but not as a CB.

I am not a Jefferson fan and to me he is not ready to be an nfl player and I think Ryan Finley for sure outplayed Driskell and should be our second qb behind andy and make the other rook the third one and release Jeff Driskell. Although he had no line at all and the left tackle got handled by the chiefs.A lot of these guys need to be cut right now.

Stock Up: Billy Price, Auden Tate, Stanley Morgan

Stock Down: Darius Phillips (only as a PR; his stock is neutral as a DB), Drew Sample (only as a receiver; his blocking and route running were stock neutral), John Jerry

Stock Crashed: Jeff Driskel

Jefferson was down before the game so not really any further down. He is clearly a bust at this point.

Up

Brown (DE) Was our best DE of the night albeit Dunlap only played one series
Dalton - Looked in mid season form and lead team to a TD
Malone - I know he had a drop, but he also showed he can separate

Honorable Mention - Price played well last night

Down
Driskel.......Driskel......Driskel (he looked nothing like a back up NFL QB, and no confidence if he were our back up
Jefferson - Seems to always be in the wrong spot
Phillips/Lippett (picked 2 as both were horrid) I thought Lippett was a rookie, then looked it up and in year #6

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

Up
Andrew Brown 3 QB hits, 1 TFL, 1 sack, and multiple force holding calls
Jordan Evans- had a nice stop in coverage on first drive and would have had a huge TFL on a screen if RB caught the ball.
Darius Phillips CB- 2 pass breakups

Down-
Darius Phillips PR- 2 muffed punts
Nickerson- yes he had an INT but that TD he gave up was bad
Evans OT- dude got Driskle killed

In a game full of backups you picked Dalton. Amazing.

That's a shame about his muffed punts, I was really hoping that he would emerge as an exciting return man.  His highlight reel from college was full of electrifying big plays on INT returns, and as a return man.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

Stock up:
Drew Sample - He blocked well and was getting open in the passing game.

O'Shea Dugas - He gave up a couple pressures but was the best of the backup linemen I wonder if he will get a shot at LG.

Andrew Brown - The Chiefs couldnt keep him out of the backfield.

Stock Down:

John Jerry - In one word...Slow
Malik Jefferson - He looked lost.
Christian Ringo - Lots of snaps with zero penetration.

Yeah. I know there are people who have been holding out hope for the guy but he is just not getting it at all.

For real? One series in a preseason game and Andy's stock is up. You must not have thought much of his play before that game.

Only watched the first part of the highlights.

I like hearing about players from the bottom rung impressing. Rooting for this Dugas fella.

Happy to hear Sample having a decent showing in his first game.

Andrew Brown is very talented, not surprised on this one.

Sad about Malik, sounds like he just doesn't have it.

Can Price play LG and can we put Hopkins at Center?

I’m not sure how much a stock up/down means right now. Especially on defense where it seemed (and ZT confirmed and was NOT happy about it) they were playing tentative and way too far off the ball. but...

Falling:

Nickerson
Jefferson
Shawn Williams

Rising:

Price
Phillips at CB
Finley
