Sweden turning its back on refugees

Will this set off a Chain reaction in Europe? It's pretty amazing the swedes are clamping down.

Maybe countries will take a page out of Japan's book:

http://www.stripes.com/news/pacific/japan-wary-of-outsiders-keeps-doors-closed-to-refugees-1.386120

Quote:Out of the 7,533 people who applied for refugee status in 2014, or appealed earlier refusals, only 11 were approved. That includes Jamal, his mother and sister, whose approvals came after a year-and-a-half wait.

For most, the approval never comes: In the past five years, the proportion of applicants granted refugee status in Japan has dropped to below 1 percent — in 2014 it was just 0.2 percent. In contrast, Germany has accepted nearly 40,000 Syrian asylum-seekers since 2013, while the U.S. has pledged to accept 10,000 Syrian refugees and has resettled 2,234 since 2010.

Japan is a homogeneous society and would like to keep it that way. Promoting diverstity and multiculturalism isn't quite at the top of their "to do" list.
They believe diversity is problematic on many levles and counterproductive.
I wonder where they got those crazy ideas from.

Doesn't Multiculturalism promote integration? Which has been proven to be a negative. Yes having cultural influence is important but they first must assimilate to the home culture and way of life then they can share their culture within the parameters of the home culture.

Different cultures assimilating into American culture is different. I'm talking about things such as different races and cultures intolerant of each other, crime, government social welfare programs

After the Rodney King episode, the riots in LA led to blacks looting Korean owned shops because they felt they as patrons were poorly treated.
Blacks in Cleveland killing Arab store owners for the same reason.
White cops vs. blacks...riots, looting...
Muslim jihadists living here.
Illegals, Hispanic crime and sanctuary cities...

The Japs have none of that shit.

Our problems have a lot to do with 60 years of integration. It was bad enough we segregated blacks, but we compounded the problem by integrating them instead of assimilating. This is exactly why some blacks still feel segregated to an extent. And we have made the same error with immigrants.

You are correct that the japs have only allowed a limited amount. Nothing wrong with accepting less. Less guarantees assimilation.
