Every gun owner I know has zero issues with a comprehensive background check. Tie it into every conceivable possible network; FBI, DOJ, mental health etc... I'd have zero issue with that. I don't even care much about the inane ten day waiting period. While I get the point of it it's pointless for a person who already owns multiple firearms. But it's not that big a deal. The problem is, and the reason the NRA lobbies against everything, is that the people advocating new control measures are not going to be happy with just achieving what they're currently proposing. To many of them it's just a steeping stone, slowly chipping away at gun owners rights.
