And now he's posted on youtube a private phone conversation he had with Gruden.

Vontaze Burfict needs to start distancing himself from Antonio Brown before Brown damages Burfict's image.  Ninja

And after yesterday's "heartfelt" apology today on Instagram he asks to be released

And that’s fine ! I have worked my whole life to prove that the system is blind to see talent like mines. Now that everyone sees it, they want me to conform to that same system that has failed me all those years. “I’m not mad at anyone. I’m just asking for the freedom to prove them all wrong.” Release me @raiders #NOMore #theyputblindersonahorseforareason #NoMoreFake

So is he going to end up in NE or the XFL? I actually like the CFL so I won't sully that league by claiming he should go there.

Say what you want about Vince McMahon and the XFL, but he’s really making the NFL step up their storyline game

What’s this guys deal? Every day it’s something else, is he mental or just an ass? I don’t see Gruden or Mayock putting up with this anymore.

Hand painting his old Steelers helmet Raiders colors has been the least ******** thing he has done in the past 6 months.

Kudos to the Raiders doing in weeks what the Steelers failed to do for years:

Quote:The answers are complicated and sometimes speculative. But when you speak to sources who had a seat at the Steelers’ table, it’s clear that Pittsburgh was juggling Brown behind the scenes for years, and the willingness of the coaching staff and front office to deal with his issues are what kept things so quiet for so long.

Y'all remember when Vontaze was saying stuff like this just a few weeks ago

Quote:

“This is my second team, but it’s the first time I’ve had a team like this and everybody gets along. It doesn’t matter what type of day it is. We’re all here to see each other get better and motivate each other. We’ve got a lot of characters, in a good way.”

Loved him when he was here, but screw him.

There’s another way of looking at that, of course.  If it had been going on for years, that means the Steelers were able to make it work for a while, while the Raiders couldn’t even make it out of preseason.

Me too, but all that did in my book was move them back to where they were before they traded for that jackass.

except missing the 2 draft picks they gave up for him.  Picks they could have used for players who could have actually helped the team

Kind of saw that coming.  Seems a little shady the way it worked out.  Toss in some conspiracy theory here.  Ninja It cost him a ton of guaranteed money though.
