on Wilcox's TD? Asiasi, lines up on the wrong side, Joe tells him so he starts to move to other side, then Joe says, "just stay over there", because obviously we are just going to run it up the middle..........

On another note, that may be Joe's best play action fake in his career.  He has never been confused with Boomer when it comes to selling play action in the past, this one was dandy.

Joe sold that fake really well.

The funniest part of it is Asiasi is wide open for a TD. There was a wide shot of it where he had his guy beat by 2 or 3 yards on a corner route.

Was Asiasi just eye candy to get the D focused on him?

At any rate it was a nice play.

I think that part of the reason that he sold it so well is that he rarely does it. It was very unexpected.

To be fair nobody ever sold the play action fake as good as Boomer did, it was poetry in motion when he did it.

Poetry in spastic camera motions as the cameraman realized that he didn't hand it off and tried to get shot back on Boomer.

That play was classic Boomer. I think Burrow is probably watching Boomer tape at the facility. If he gets as good at that as Boomer was with the other tools he possesses, the sky is the limit.

Nice. That was Boomeresque alright. Joe has really improved in a ton of things, this was nice to see.

The tipped balls need to be worked on though, a pump fake or something. Need to look at ways to limit these.

Can't help but wonder if this play would have worked on 3rd down vs. the Rams in the Super Bowl.
