Anyone know anything about Philip Wheeler?

He had a couple of good seasons. '12-'13 he had a combined 227 tackles, 4 sacks, and 7 PD. But he has not done much since. He has also bounced around to a bunch of different teams.

is he having injury problems or just getting old?

He's definitely stunk it up over the last couple of years. Ireland said he became 'complacent' after the deal he got in Miami. Unfortunate, because he was a pretty solid all round backer.

Looks like he had one monster year in Oakland and hasn't done much else elsewhere. I would pass on him. He is also 31 years old.

Pretty much this. He started every game his first year in Miami, but he quickly fell out with the coaching staff.
You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.
