My 2016 Mock Bengals 7 Round Picks, by 1968 Bengals Fan, Kevin
#1
All in fun....we will see the real picks end of week.

Round 1 : Pick 24....WR..Will Fuller, Notre Dame ...fastest player at any position in the draft. Cris Collinsworths choice for Bengals.
Round 2 : Pick 55....LB...Deion Jones, LSU....one of fastest Front 7 in the draft adds speed and youth to LB and defense
Round 3 : Pick 87....S...Justin Simmons, Boston College....Time to start replacing Nelson and departed DB's
Round 4 : Pick 122...RB...Kenyon Drake, Alabama.... Top 5 fastest players in draft. Hard to skip National Champ RB here in 4.
Round 5 : Pick 161...C...Jack Allen, Michigan State....O Line gets some help with tough Michigan State Center.
Round 6 : Pick 199....DE...DJ Pettway, Alabama....D Line gets some help with Nation Champ D Lineman
Round 7 : Pick 245...Special Teams...Jalin Marshall, Ohio State.....National Champ player that is young, WR, RB, QB, DB, KR

Fuller, Jones and Drake really add speed.  Adding top quality winners as much as possible.  ...Receivers coach, RB coach, O Line coach, D Line coach, Linebacker coach, Defensive Back coach and Special Teams coach all get a new draft pick player. .....Marshall could be a wildcat QB in place of Sanu, and special teams upsides in pick 7.

I'm using CBS NFL Drat Prospects List and picking players that show high on the board at each pick...Adding WINNERS to a franchise with no Play-Off win in 25 years. ......You can coach up a lot of things, but you can't teach speed. That winning coach at Tampa and then Indy Colts was big on drafting speed. ...In this draft for Bengals, speed is what we need, and then let the coaches coach up the other things.

Collinsworth says if they double AJ Green, they D can't cover Fuller one on one.....and the D can't cover AJ Green one on one.....add in Eifert, and Bengals should score points.....Fuller and the Free Agent signed replace Jones and Sanu....7th rounder Marshall also helps replace Sanu as wild cat WR/ RB/ QB . ....Bengals keep train on Super Bowl Win Goal tracks. ......Collinsworth says Fuller is a deep bomb threat and in college burned every team deep, BUT...he also can turn dink passes into long run touchdown gains with his elite speed. Deion Sanders type speed, just amazing speed.

We have been putting a band aid on LB with one year of James Harrison out of position in a 4-3, and then Hawk and this years added older free agent.....but time to get D Speed in a young player like Jones to try to do something about those outside sweeps Steelers run on us. Teams are attacking us on the  sidelines plays. This Jones is fast enough to get outside. Another tough SEC player from LSU.

Some might question RB in 4 with Gio and Hill, but if the fastest RB is there in 4 from National Champ Alabama, Paul Brown always said it's hard to pass on a RB in the draft. ..and the running game wasn't all it should have been in 2015.....Competition is a good thing. ...Plus Gio and Hill both have the butter fingers fumbles that have killed us in Play-Off games.

Marshall in 7 fills kick return needs looked for in 7, but also can catch as a WR, Run as a RB, throw as a QB, and was used at DB when needed at Ohio State.  This National Champ Team player could fill void left by Sanu who could do many things.
