Baylor hires Jim Grobe as head football coach

Takes over for the fired Art Briles amidst allegations of sexual harassment and violence involving Baylor players.

The 64 year old Grobe coached at Ohio from 1995-2000 and Wake Forest from 2001-2013, leading the Demon Deacons to 5 bowl games. Grobe led the Demon Deacons to the ACC Championship in 2006, going 11-3 that season.
Grobe resigned following the 2013 season after going 4-8 that year, his 5th straight losing season at Wake Forest.

Well that's the end of Baylor Football relevance.

Grobe is a nice man and respected coach but he and Briles have a completely different view on building a team.

Whoever hires Briles in a year will be getting a great one.
