Bengals are the proud owners of the longest playoff win drought

Congrats fellas! 30 years and counting, the only team that's as close to us in the terms of years is the Lions with 29 years

This was true before the Bills and Browns won. Why this thread now?

The Browns and Bills both now have a playoff win this millennium before the Bengals have. That's sad given how the Browns have only made the playoffs twice and the Bills only thrice.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Patience has paid off!

Sorry for Party Rocking!

I'd say it's a bit of a bummer that our 7 shots at the playoffs got us nil when the Browns won the first chance they got since 2002. Bully for us for making the playoffs, but lordy that ceiling we kept hitting.

This drought will continue as long as we have a front office that wants to "get by" instead of one that wants to "win".
Hire a goddamn GM or get a competent coach and give him GM responsibilities.

No end in sight. I’m glad they made these moves to the organizational structure to catch up to the rest of the league.

Well at least we are not the Browns, they have never made it to a Super Bowl, so that is going on 51 years now. :)

Not for long! Not if Joe Burrow has anything to say about it.

Their first priority has to be to build the offense currently around Joe Burrow and everything else is secondary.

They are pretty good at holding bad records...no they are the best at it.

Ya haver to wonder when the tide will turn? Before or after the apocalypse?

Bills and Browns were the only teams (other than Lions and Bengals) with a 20+ year streak, right?

Those are amazing streaks of futility considering that somewhere around 75% of the league has been to a SB in that time frame.

Also, most teams have at least 3 playoff wins in that span.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.

What if ZT has a McKay type career?

If he ends our playoff win drought next year (and a conference championship appearance) and then is meh, would your opinion of him change?
