Biden on world stage - I am going to bed
#1
They interrupt him (his handlers and real people in power) after he answered a few questions in Viet Nam.

Then in full watch me everyone mode on the world stage, he says "I am going to bed".

How is this helping Democrats feel Biden's age is not an issue?
Why does he say this things? Why does he tell us he will get in trouble for answering questions? In trouble from who? He is the freaking POTUS and yes we are watching him as he asked us to do.

I think he just tries to be funny with some of his quirky comments, but fails miserably. Not a good reason to bash him for his sense of humor, or lack thereof. There are plenty of other things he deserves criticism for,  but not this.

By the time of that press conference, he had been pulling, as Peter Doocy of Fox News said, the equivalent of an "all-nighter".  He had been at the G-20 summit all day. Flew to Vietnam, got off the plane, and went immediately into meetings there.  This is of course after dealing with jetlag from his trip from the US.  Anyone would have been tired by that point.  The press was told they had 5 questions.  Joe answered several more before he was interrupted. He left making the comment about "going to bed"

You do realize he has an an actual bed on Air-force 1 so unlike others, he more than likely slept on his plane comfortably.  You appear to excuse Biden and act as though he is perfect. Are you in the Biden cult?  Sarcasm

How about one more lie from Joe today?

I still can’t believe how much they protect this guy. We’re an absolute joke to the rest of the world. We have a walmart greeter as president. What more does he have to do for the democrats to admit they made a mistake? Trump was a fool in his rhetoric but not his policies. Biden’s an even bigger fool and his policies are detrimental to the country, and likely going to make the US dollar obsolete on the world stage.

No more mean tweets though, so that’s good.

Question for you. Where do you think this leads? Secession? It just seems like they’ve gone so far left with impunity, to the point where Elon Musk and Bill Maher are considered “liberals who went far right.” Even though they’re saying the exact same stuff they’ve been saying for 20 years. I don’t see another option. The bummer is we’re too mixed in with each other at this point. It’s not like I can secede from someone who’s my next door neighbor.

Not to mention, as pretty much any aids will tell you, flights on AF1 tend to be filled with activity as business never really stops. I'm half his age and I would be exhausted with his schedule.

Well, you watch him with the sole purpose to find anything you can use against him, quite selective really. When it comes to the world stage, Biden did not do too bad. He unites the quarreling west against Russian aggression, he was instrumental in making Turkey give up their resistance against Swedish NATO membership, just now he did quite good at the G20 with India, who seem less likely to side with Putin now. These are all positives, Biden being tired does not cancel them out. Also, he did not start a war or a conflict, something you demand Trump be praised for over and over.

Also quite importantly, he did as of yet not fall in love with brutal dictators or trust them over his own intelligence. A tired Biden seems preferrable to a top-fit Trump full of bad ideas like moving Seoul or buying Greenland.

It just seems like they’ve gone so far left with impunity, to the point where Elon Musk and Bill Maher are considered “liberals who went far right.” Even though they’re saying the exact same stuff they’ve been saying for 20 years. This has happened in nearly every generation of human history. As the generations turn, modern society, with a few hiccups, gets more progressive over time.

A progressive in the early 2000s believed that gay people should be allowed to be married. Today, that's just the law and is a standard belief among anyone other than the far right.

A progressive in the 1960s was someone who believed that black people should have equal rights. Today, that's just the law and is a standard belief among anyone other than the far right.

A progressive in the 1910s was someone who believed that women should have equal rights. Today, that's just the law and is a standard belief among anyone other than the far right.

A progressive in the 1860s was someone who believed owning other humans was wrong. Today, that's just the law and is a standard belief among anyone other than...I mean even the far right has finally dropped that one (unless you commit a crime, then your labor is back up for grabs).

And so on.

Maher is the newest victim of that trend. Views of society evolve over time and often leave old people behind. The old belief that "you get more conservative as you get older" is often misconstrued. It's portrayed as "as you get older, your views change to be more conservative." when in reality it's often "as you get older, your views generally stay the same, but society moves left."

Musk, on the other hand, has an assorted range of views. Some align with the left, others align with the right. He has been REALLY PUSHING the right wing ones lately, which is why he has been re-branded. If he were talking every day about his left wing views, such as his desire for a UBI, taxes on carbon emissions, stricter background checks for guns and belief in climate change, he would still be viewed as a left wing person. But, instead, he has been consumed with his "anti-woke" nonsense and opposition to unions. He's also started pushing anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, which hasn't helped his cause. He even went so far as to heavily imply he bought Twitter because he believes "the woke mind virus" is what turned his trans daughter against him.

Quote:He told Walter Isaacson in an interview for his upcoming biography on the X (formerly Twitter) CEO: “She went beyond socialism to being a full communist and thinking that anyone rich is evil.”

Musk had enrolled her at a $50,092 a year liberal in California and said her education largely shaped her “woke views”.

But the business tycoon feared the exact same mindset was dominating conversations on Twitter, allegedly promoting his decision to make a $44 billion bid for the company.

He told Isaacson, according to an excerpt featured in The Wall Street Journal: “Unless the woke mind virus, which is fundamentally anti-science, anti-merit, and anti-human in general, is stopped, civilisation will never become multi-planetary.”

Musk added: “She doesn’t want to spend time with me.”

Vivian Jenna Wilson, now 19, is the billionaire's daughter from his first marriage with Justine Wilson.

She filed a petition to change her name last year, saying that she does not “wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form”.

His daughter going No Contact with him (And changer her name so that she no longer would be associated with him) was right around the time he started really emphasizing all the "anti-woke" stuff and why he has been considered to have turned to the right.

So he is not similar to Maher as someone who society changed around. He has legitimately changed his views or, at the very least, has chosen to only express his right wing views since taking over Twitter.

Maybe he was always this right wing but, if he were, he never would have been considered a liberal. It's much more likely that he developed these new beliefs when his daughter disassociated with him (which he blames "woke" stuff for).

All the diet cokes and Big Macs probably don't help, either.

Fiber is important, people. If you're not getting enough, take some supplements.

Awake and active for more than 24 hours. I would be tired, too.

This is a nothing story. Might as well be about him wearing a tan suit.
