Bledsoe and Henderson elevated from PS
#1
DE Amani Bledsoe and S Trayvon Henderson have been elevated to the active squad for tomorrow's game. Zac said he would only do this if he intended to play the players so look for them to get reps at least on special teams.

They will revert to the PS on Monday without having to clear waivers. Each of those players can only be game day elevated waiver free 1 more time this season.

Only 1 more time? Is this something new or has it always been the standard?

With the new COVID rules each PS player can be elevated to the active squad and returned to the PS without clearing waivers twice during the season.  After they have done this twice they have to clear waivers before returning to the PS

This makes total sense given our injury situation.

With S. Williams' injury potentially keeping him out a bit, I thought Henderson could make the 53 outright.

Also confirmation that Bledsoe tops the heap of the PS DEs.

Williams' play has improved to slightly above suck over the years. Replacing Reggie Nelson isn't easy and he proved it. Henderson has a chance to show them something while SW is out.

They should have extended the rosters or something this year or at the very least changed the practice squad rules for the season. Seems like bouts of Covid haven’t been too bad but it’s probably bound to happen at least a few times this year.
