Brady trolls Steelers fans as he walks off the field

Now that you mention the idea 1 player could tie the 6 championships of one team make one team's team accomplishment look weak now.  ThumbsUp  Tongue  Cool

Free Agency ain't over until it is over.

First 6 years BB - 41 wins and 54 losses with 1-1 playoff record with 2 teams Browns and Pats

So? Aren't you guys are always telling us not to live in the past? Wouldn't we have to do that for this to affect us?

Make up your mind, man! Smirk

But seriously, 'look weak'? It would knock them off a pedastal, yes. But there's only one team they'd 'look weak' against, and one team whose fans would be entitled to mock us for it, and that's the Pats.

Are you going bandwagon?

I knew you couldn't resist ... LOL

And so the thread continues ...

Check this out:

Take a good hard look at this official list of NFC Champions, particularly 1965 and earlier from the NFL.  There shouldn't be any, because that was all pre-Super Bowl.  And yet they list them the whole way back to the start of the league.  What games are those, do you suppose?  This is according to the NFL.

It's also listed that way in the NFL Record and Fact book (scroll to page 492).

Even the Packers' own website lists their championships as "Super Bowls & Championships".  They also have two lists on that page: one for their combined championships and one just for Super Bowl appearances.  Even THEY recognize there is a distinction between the two.

I do retract the statement that one is superior. That was just to goad you. But there is nonetheless a distinction to be made between the two.
