Brazile: Clinton funded/ran DNC months before primary.
#1
Sorry I don't have it quoted like I normally do, I am on my phone out of state.

I have no idea how this is just unethical and not illegal. Either way, this doesn't look so good for the DNC when your primaries are shown to be a sham that ignores the idea of a fair democratic vote.

Yeah, stuff like this is why even though I am a liberal, I won't count myself a Democrat. As to the ethics v. legal situation, because the primary is an election for the private entity, the party, and not the country, they can really do with it what they want. I've pointed this out before when talking about this issue. It's shit, I completely agree, but that's the truth of it.

tl;dr Long article, but it shows many of the inconsistencies in the book and places where Brazille was flat out wrong.

This is what I got from some folks about this. What was done was not against any rules, it did not push things one direction or another, and while some of the requests from the Clinton campaign were not usual operating procedures they still did not alter the situation during the primaries. However, what all of the folks I would consider insiders in the Democratic camp have been saying is that even with all of that, they need to put rules in place to eliminate these kinds of things because of the perception they bring.

I'm not sure about legality vs right and wrong, but things like the story that the Clintons loaned money to the DNC and no one knew about are just wrong.  I mean like easily proven to be demonstrably false.  But they got the headlines.  That's the reason I shared this story.  We can dislike the process, but at we can discuss what really happened versus things that aren't true.

Leonard, a lot of "mays" and "maybes" do not yet equal "shown."
