He really should be getting more MVP buzz.

He’s getting the proper amount of MVP buzz, I think. I’ve seen the 5 names above, and no one else mentioned in the MVP race for the last month, though Burrow is the latest to start getting that buzz.

Still think it almost has to be Rodgers, but Burrow will get consideration.

EDIT: Just saw that this is a ranking of the MVP candidates, and not a top 5 in WAR list. It makes a ton more sense that Taylor and Cupp would not be listed in the top 5. QBs should always have the highest WAR numbers.

Still, Burrow will get consideration, but Rodgers will get the award.

4 WAR out of 16 games? Is this the same as MLB WAR because that would be like Mike Trout having a 40 WAR season!

Joe will be a strong MVP candidate for the next decade so I’m OK with an old guy winning it this year.

I wonder how good this metric is. WAR and VORP are the often spoken about but awfully elusive advanced metrics in football that everyone wants. Either way, this metric really likes Burrow. I don’t think Burrow should win but he should be absolutely be recognized in the conversation.
