If that is true it seems rather light to handle the edge as our safetys are bigger than he is. Is he someone that may fit in that 3-4 outside lb pass rush role?

Yes- he is a nickel Edge maybe a Sam LB in base package! He reminds of Chris Carter an edge player we had in 2015.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

Pro day results for Bryce Sterk:

Vertical Jump: 34.5"
Broad Jump: 111"
40 Yard Dash: 4.69
20 Yard Shuttle: 4.47

He sounds like an interesting prospect - his pro day results and measurables are kind of similar to pros who have had success in Rob Ninkovich and our own Carlos Dunlap.  Maybe if he picks up some hand fighting skills from the vets he can be a good 3-4 edge type of guy.

He sure has great numbers, the only negative is the weak conference he played in honestly...

I think this move and the Bledsoe move, were all about getting guys to put on the PS. Remember, it’s going to be 16 guys this year and the players most likely to contract Covid during a game from another player, will be Oline and Dline.

Bengals.com already has him listed as a DE.

You have to wonder why Dolphins considered him a better TE prospect?

Yeah, has Sterk played there before? Can he block and catch?
