Chemistry and Continuity

Speaking of the O-line, sure would like to steal Bill Callahan from the Stains in the Offseason...

No doubt and the Bengals were a couple plays away from making the Browns crap their pants. After they get within 5 points and after Mayfield's pick with around 5 minutes left, Cinci. gave up 3 yards on 1st down. Had they been able to get a 3rd and long the last thing Browns wanted was to have to have Mayfield throw the ball.

I know that's a big if but not having 2-3 of your stout DL hurts this team far more than others, imo.

Actually Chubb and Hunt aren't super RBs; really we are about the only team they ever go off on.

As to Mayfield, if you watch the game carefully he was under zero pressure, the "defense" kept falling for the exact same bootleg and his receivers were wide open all the time. He did not put balls in tight spaces or throw anyone open - heck the way the D played Finley could have had a career day against them. Watch Mayfield go back to his usual self the next time they play.

In his last 15 games, Chubb has 8 100+ games and averaged 5 ypc or more 9 times. He's went off on quite a few teams.

They're as good if not better than any RB tandem in the league. Chubb has been a stud and Hunt was the best all-around back in the NFL a couple seasons ago.

Completely agree, we were in a good position late in that game even with them running all over us, we still could of won.

Problem is this happens a lot with us for some reason, we play good on Defense the first week, bad the next. Bad on Offense the
first week, good on O the next. It is frustrating. Hopefully it is just cause of the lack of Preseason and it is early with lots of new
players, could be the case. Just hope it is the coaches, if it is, we need to clean house besides Simmons.

Chubb was 2nd in the NFL rushing last year behind Derrick Henry, severely underrated as you show here Joelist.

Hunt was the best RB in the NFL at one time when he was on the Chiefs.

Saw Mayfield make tons of good throws early, we just let him out of the pocket with that bootleg, cannot let that happen.

Definitely need to clean up this and stopping the run the next time we play, we will have the film...

And a couple other games with over 90 yards. Had they given him the ball more last year as was the huge criticism against their HC he would have had 9-100 games and probably closer to 1550-1600 yards instead of the 1500 yards he had rushing.

Chubb is top 5 easily. His YAC is ridiculous.

What is this weird need to be dishonest about other teams/players all about?

Chubb is a down hill monster with some open field speed and Hunt is a perfect complement. The Browns already had a great interior line and went out and got tackles (even though Chris Hubbard a solid vet was playing against the Bengals.) The worst player on that Browns offense is probably their QB.

On defense they have a very good defensive front that includes a league star and game changer on the edge... They are beat up on the back end and that's about it.

That Browns team is going to be dangerous for a while.

Savy move by John Dorsey signing Kareem Hunt for peanuts.
Wish he was Bengals GM
