24 hours ago, we were one point dogs........ I wonder what changed?

Spreads are usually pretty accurate and we're favored by a point with the home team automatically getting three points!

Mahomes' injury uncertainty probably has a lot to do with it. His MRI came back as a high ankle sprain which, you know...he COULD still play but would he be the same quarterback? A lot of former players are coming out saying they'd be surprised if he was able to play with a high ankle sprain. So there's a fair amount of uncertainty surrounding his ankle right now. That is probably worth a few points.

Odds are different from site to site. Yahoo Sports now has Bengals -1.5, but Odds Shark has Bengals +2.5. I like it when the Bengals are underdogs. Seems to fire them up just a little more.

I'm still seeing odds for Chiefs being favored. I read an article this morning that the Bengals started out underdogs by 2.5 points, then went to 1.5, then Bengals favored, then back to Chiefs favored.

I really have no idea where this is going to end up. Five hours ago Caesar's Sportsbook listed KC as 1 point favorites.

Bills fans might object to this sentiment.

The Bengals have beaten them 3 times in the last twelve months and Mahomes has a high ankle sprain.

Bengals should be favored

Which means it's a perfect time to hammer the under on Mahomes passing yards before they change it, because it is still at a stout 270.5 right now.

The line right now should be even.

The line changes based on where the money is going.  The opening line was Chiefs -2.5, then 80% of the money came in on the Bengals because of the initial line, and it shifted.  So due ot the weight of the betting the line has move 3.5 points.  It will likely shift back and forth.

Here is an article about how line started at Chiefs favorites by 3 (which was considered a bad opener), then eventually went to Bengals by one, then even by Sunday night and then Chiefs by 1 by Monday morning.

Bengals need to be real careful not to believe all the hype they are getting after yesterday. Using the underdog tag as motivation is becoming a thing of the past. They can not go in to KC expecting the Chiefs to roll over and sulk over the Mahomes injury.

The task is not to back in to another Super Bowl appearance. it's to ruthlessly crush Mahomes and the Chiefs and leave no doubt as to who the better team is. Foot on the gas, balls to the wall, play this team like Mahomes is going to have the game of his life. No mercy and no expectation of an easy win.

It's a different angle, but I think this team is built to win in any circumstance.

Good points. This team is angry and feels sh!t on by the league(as they should). They need to continue playing angry and dominate those fools from the get go.

I bought in at +1.5 bengals on draft kings right after Buffalo game. Now it’s -1 bengals. 80% are betting on bengals . I assume MAHOMMIES is going to be limited but who knows. But I’m sure Lou will be ready with a brilliant scheme. Really need to think about paying Lou some big bucks. Him and Taylor together could be a dynasty in the making.

Not just the league, but disrespected in general. Before the season started, the AFC representative in the Super Bowl was 11th in odds to win the Super Bowl, behind even the Ravens and the Browns. They were far down in the power ratings. They were dismissed as a fluke last year. They have zero representatives as an all pro. All the talk was the Bills meeting KC.

As Reader says, "You can count us out. you can count around. Bengals ain't this. Bengals ain't that. We just keep showing up and keep playing on Sunday."

That chip isn't going to go away because people are starting to realize they are real. It's too engrained at this point.

Fellas, does anyone remember the line before last year's game in Arrowhead? I was trying to remember. Weren't the Bengals something like +7 ?
