Comer and Jordan issue over one dozen subpoenas
#1
Comer and Jordan have issues subpoenas to:

Walker - business partner of Hunter and Jim Biden, possibly Joe Biden
Hunter Biden
Jim Biden
Other members of the Biden family including wife of Jim Biden (she wrote 2 checks to Joe Biden) and others who received money from foreign countries laundered through foreign countries.
Tony Bobulinski - business partnered of Hunter Biden who under oath stated Joe Biden was the big guy referenced in a an email of payout from a communist Chinese energy company. Comer has connected the dots and found the laundered money and also the payouts to all of the individuals in that email.

Jordan will also subpoena Hunter and Jim Biden as well as he is looking into Biden's stolen records of classified documents case. He will be interviewing at least 2 attorneys involved in boxing and sending the documents to Joe Biden.

Jim and Hunter Biden are set to testify separately in December and Walker testifies the end of this month. There are also looking into former and current Hunter and Joe Biden accountants. Comer alleges Hunter Biden lied on his 2020 tax return which falls within the statutes of limitations for the IRS and the DOJ to charge him for tax fraud. Comer says Hunter actually lied to his accountant about his 2020 foreign business income.

Comer is also looking into HB's sugar daddy who gave him millions to pay off the IRS to insure the loans met the IRS standards for giving loans.

A lot going on and may take months and maybe years to get all of the answers because the FBI and DOJ continue to run interference for the Bidens HB should have been charged with tax evasion and failure to report as a foreign agent 4 years ago.

Ohio GOP Congressman Jim Jordan was unanimously referred to the bipartisan House Ethics Committee on Monday for refusing to share what he knows about former President Donald Trump's role in the U.S. Capitol insurrection nearly two years ago.

MORE | Jan. 6 committee refers criminal charges against Trump over insurrection

Jordan, perhaps Trump's most vocal defender in Congress, was among four GOP congressmen referred to the ethics group for defying a Jan. 6 committee subpoena for testimony and documents. Few expect the ethics committee members to issue the requested sanctions for the quartet's defiance.

Jordan spokesman Russell Dye issued a statement to WSYX 6 On Your Side:
“This is just another partisan and political stunt made by a Select Committee that knowingly altered evidence, blocked minority representation on a committee for the first time in the history of the U.S. House of Representatives, and failed to respond to Mr. Jordan’s numerous letters and concerns surrounding the politicization and legitimacy of the committee’s work.”

The Jan. 6 panel, which met for the final time, also made four criminal referrals on the former president.

Jordan originally was chosen as a member of the Jan. 6 committee, but Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi refused to let him join — in part because of his possible involvement surrounding the U.S. Capitol insurrection nearly two years ago. That prediction came true as committee investigators and others discovered the Urbana, Ohio, Republican's presence in White House planning meetings in the days leading up to the riot.

House GOP leader Kevin McCarthy refused to name replacements for Jordan and another Republican removed by Pelosi, resulting in the Jan. 6 committee being dominated by Democrats 7-2.

McCarthy also was named for possible ethics violations by the committee, along with Reps. Scott Perry of Pennsylvania and Andy Biggs of Arizona.

Jordan, likely chairman of the House Judiciary Committee next year, has promised to lead a host of investigations into Hunter Biden and other topics involving the administration of President Joe Biden -- many of which are certain to involve subpoenas.

Here's why the Jan. 6 committee wanted to talk to Ohio GOP Rep Jim Jordan
In June, the Jan. 6 committee sent a five-page letter to Jordan outlining his involvement in a series of key events that the panel wanted to question him about in detail.

“Cooperation with our investigation would also give you the opportunity to resolve, on the record, inconsistencies in your public statements about the events of Jan. 6. For instance, you have offered inconsistent public statements regarding when and how many times you spoke with President Trump on Jan. 6,” Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Mississippi, said in the letter.

“Given that you have said all along ‘I have nothing to hide,’ we expect that you would be willing to clarify these statements for us.”

Among the 10 reasons the select committee listed for wanting to hear from Jordan were two items not disclosed until the June letter:
  • He requested a call with then-attorney General William Barr on Nov. 6, the day before the 2020 election was called for Joe Biden.
  • The same day he asked to talk with Trump’s chief of staff Mark Meadows about “efforts to pressure Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolfe to audit his state’s election results.”
  • Jordan told Meadows the afternoon of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot that Trump’s “various congressional supporters seemed increasingly less excited now that their revolt would be covered only by C-SPAN.”

Other Jordan involvement cited by the committee:
  • A Nov. 9, 2020, meeting with senior White House officials in which a “blueprint” was developed to “hammer home the idea that the election was tainted.”
  • A meeting Nov. 14 of the same year with Trump campaign officials and members of Congress in which Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani outlined a strategy to falsely question the integrity of Dominion Voting Systems -- which makes voting machines used in Ohio and several other states -- and link them to Venezuelan strongman Hugo Chavez.
  • On Dec. 21, 2020, Jordan and several members of Congress met with Trump, Vice President Mike Pence and the president’s legal team to review options on challenging certification of the election.
  • The same month, Trump told the Department of Justice that Jordan was “trying to find out what happened” to election fraud allegations.
  • On Jan. 5, the day before the 2021 riot, Jordan passed along advice to Meadows that Pence should refuse to certify “unconstitutional” votes.
  • Starting almost immediately after the election, Jordan repeatedly called the integrity of the vote into question, and advised Trump not to concede the election even after results were certified Jan. 6.
  • Jordan talked with Trump the morning of Jan. 6 shortly before the Capitol riot began, and later the same day after congressional members were moved to a secure location.

Jim Jordan mentioned 30+ times in "introductory" report by panel probing US Capitol insurrection
The Ohio congressman's name is prominent in a 154-page Introductory Material to the Final Report of the Select Committee document released after Monday's hearing.

Jordan had "materially relevant communications with Donald Trump or others in the White House" and "was a significant player in President Trump’s efforts" to overturn the 2020 election that Biden won, the report said.

For example, on Jan. 2, 2021, "Jordan led a conference call in which he, President Trump, and other members of Congress discussed strategies for delaying the Jan. 6th joint (congressional) session (to acknowledge Biden as president). During that call, the group also discussed issuing social media posts encouraging President Trump’s supporters to 'march to the Capitol' on the 6th."

An hour and-a-half later, "President Trump and Representative Jordan spoke by phone for 18 minutes."

[Image: 35ec7cad-81f4-4549-886f-7d216de58893-med...1499342366]Jan 6 committee tweet from its final hearing Dec. 19, 2022.

Jordan was "involved in discussions with White House officials about Vice President Pence’s role on January 6th as early as November 2020."
Thus the committee's request for more information from Jordan and other congressmen was justified, the report said.

"The rules of the House of Representatives make clear that their willful noncompliance violates multiple standards of conduct and subjects them to discipline," the panel concluded.

"A House member’s willful failure to comply with a congressional subpoena also reflects discredit on Congress. If left unpunished, such behavior undermines Congress’s longstanding power to investigate in support of its lawmaking authority and suggests that members of Congress may disregard legal obligations that apply to ordinary citizens."

Hunter Biden has agreed to testify on Dec 13th as long as the questioning is done in public. He wants to avoid the selective leaks of the creative and exaggerated interpretation of what information was gathered as we have seen from prior witnesses in this case.

If Comer and the committee are so sure of Joe Biden's guilt then they should have no problem putting this witness in front of the TV cameras

This is outside of the norms. Comer has agreed to allow him to testify in public only after he testifies and honors the behind closed door testimony December 13.

Only time will tell if Hunter abides by the December 13th subpoena that is very specific (behind closed doors).

I am interested to see if Hunter Biden perjures himself and says his dad received no compensation from Hunter's business. I am interested if Jim Biden, his wife or others say they have no knowledge of Joe Biden being involved in money grandkids received directly from foreign companies.

There comes a point in time the grandkids could be in trouble unless they registered as a foreign agent. Will the adults come clean to get the grandkids out of legal jeopardy.

Comer has produced bank records of foreign countries giving Jim, Hunter and 7 other family members money directly. How do they explain it? They have no business. They paid no federal taxes on any money received (Jim, his wife, Hunter's ex wife, Beaus's ex wife and grandkids. I have yet to see Joe's daughter be accused of anything.

Biden business associate Rob Walker will testify November 29th, James Biden on December 6th, and Hunter Biden on December 13th.

Walker goes tomorrow and then Jim Biden next week.

It will be interesting to see if Walker collaborates anything Archer or Bobulinski testified under oath to Congress?

Then, it will very interesting to see what Jim Biden has to say.

They are protected for now with Garland and a weaponized DOJ. but if joe Biden loses to Trump or any GOP nominee in 2024, any lies could be prosecuted in 2025 onceGarland is fired.

Called their bluff.

I don't even think they have a pair in their hand.

Even, if they had something, they are so terrible at preparing their work that it would be just another public humiliation and that's why they want it private.

I love how you assume it would be perjury if Hunter testified that Joe received no money.  THERE IS NO EVIDENCE!!!!  I know you think accusations are enough but that isn't enough to convict anyone.

Accepting money or doing business with foreigners does not mean one is a foreign agent.  The 2nd half of the equation is that they must be acting on behalf of someone seeking to influence public policy or opinion.  And again that requires PROOF which Comer doesn't have.  And you are woefully naive if you think testimony by Hunter or Jim Biden will provide them with it.

All but 1 of the Biden grandchildren were minors during the years in question.  They would be criminally liable for nothing.

Consultants, worldwide, make millions telling others how to run their businesses.  That is a business.  Their knowledge is their business.

Hunter has provided a response to the subpoena.  Now it's up to Comer to see if he has the cajones to have his shaky accusations challenged in public.  If he is afraid of transparency then that demonstrates he's got nothing and just wants the continuing investigation with the drip drip drip of accusations

A whole lot of nothing and lack of investigation of the evidence. Is it ignorance or are you just so deep in party talking points you are blinded.

I guess you missed the part Comer agreed to do a public hearing also, after he does the private hearing on the 13th.

Yes, based on the evidence Comer and Jordan have I do think Je Biden was involved in Hunter's business. I think it started long before Burisma, but him getting a new prosecutor who was praised by our state department fired was a direct link and evidence. Biden bragged about it. Anyone who thins there is no evidence like you has zero credbility on the topic. It is one thing to say not enough evidence, another to say no evidence.

Pretty much. Nothing is stopping them from asking the same questions and getting the same answers in a public hearing when compared to a private deposition. The only difference is that they would be unable to hide their idiocy and would have to face rebuttals. It just means they aren't seeking any real accountability.

yeah, hold a public hearing way down the line where they get to cherry-pick the questions or more likely just spend their "questioning" period grandstanding and throwing out baseless accusations because they still didn't get any evidence.  Of course in the meantime, they can continue making up things in order to falsely accuse the President during an election year.

Add in the Democratic open border policies and the black and hispanic communities who are US citizens see people who crossed the border illegally being put above them in the pecking order for getting help from the government.

Blue sanctuary cities like Chicago are close to rioting over illegal immigration. Yet, Democratic policies will only add more illegal immigrants in 2024 hurting the low income voting citizens in those cities.

Today Rob Walker testifies. He set up the bank transactions with the communist China energy company and is involved in setting up over 20 shell companies for the Biden family.

Comer Issues Subpoenas to Biden Family & Associates
WASHINGTON—House Committee on Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) today issued subpoenas to President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, brother, James Biden, and Biden family associate, Rob Walker, to appear for depositions. Chairman Comer also requested additional members of the Biden family and their associates appear for transcribed interviews. Chairman Comer plans to send additional subpoenas and transcribed interview requests later this week.

“The House Oversight Committee has followed the money and built a record of evidence revealing how Joe Biden knew, was involved, and benefited from his family’s influence peddling schemes. Now, the House Oversight Committee is going to bring in members of the Biden family and their associates to question them on this record of evidence,” said Chairman Comer. “Unlike the many lies President Biden told the American people about his family’s business schemes, bank records don’t lie. These records reveal how the Bidens sold Joe Biden around to the world to benefit the Biden family, including Joe Biden himself, to the detriment of U.S. interests. The House Oversight Committee, along with the Committees on Judiciary and Ways and Means, will continue to follow the facts and deliver the transparency and accountability that the American people demand and deserve.”

According to financial records obtained by the House Oversight Committee, the Biden family set up over 20 shell companies – most of which were created when Joe Biden was Vice President – in a concerted effort to hide payments from foreign adversaries. The Biden family, their business associates, and their companies received over $24 million from foreign nationals over the course of approximately five years – including millions of dollars from China, Russia, Ukraine, Romania, and Kazakhstan. The Bidens and their associates made complicated financial transactions to conceal the source and total amount of money they received from foreign nationals and companies.

Devon Archer, a Biden family associate, testified that Joe Biden was “the brand” the Bidens sold around the world and used to send signals of access, power and influence. Archer admitted that Joe Biden was put on speakerphone by Hunter Biden with his business associates over twenty times; dined with his family’s foreign associates, including Russian and Kazakhstani oligarchs, and a Ukrainian executive being investigated for corruption; and had coffee with Hunter’s Chinese business partner and went on to write his daughter a college letter of recommendation.

Recently, the House Oversight Committee identified two checks labeled as “loan repayments” from James and Sara Biden to Joe Biden that were funded by laundered China money and domestic influence peddling schemes. After Chairman Comer called on President Biden to provide proof of loans to his brother, the White House refused.

“President Biden and his administration have continually changed their stories throughout this inquiry. You know who’s been consistent? The IRS whistleblowers. With each piece of evidence we gather, their whistleblower accounts are corroborated. These subpoenas are a necessary next step as House Republicans deliver accountability for the American people,” said House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio).

“The American people are learning the truth about how the Biden Family sold access to Joe Biden and his political influence all around the world,” said Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith (R-Mo.). “Based on the evidence uncovered by an ongoing Congressional investigation that includes the testimony of two brave IRS whistleblowers, we know President Biden lied when he said he had no knowledge of his son’s business dealings; we know he was not only aware but involved; and it has now become abundantly clear that he in fact benefited. No one should be shielded from legal scrutiny based on their last name. Congress has a constitutional duty to conduct oversight to determine whether our nation’s elected leaders have used public office to enrich themselves or their families, and more importantly, whether those public officials may be compromised by their family’s foreign business dealings. Subpoenaing key members of the Biden family influence peddling operation is the next logical step in this investigation.”

Here is some more non evidence against HB and Joe Biden. This is from an email (click on article for the actual email) uncovered by Comer. These are facts that raise a lot of questions that need to be answered by all the Bidens who received money directly or indirectly from a chines energy company.

Money laundering investigator warned of Hunter Biden's 'unusual,' 'erratic' payments from China in 2018
The bank investigator raised concerns about money that ultimately funded the $40,000 payment to Joe Biden, Comer says

FIRST ON FOX: A bank investigator responsible for detecting and combating money laundering warned in 2018 of "unusual" and "erratic" activity related to more than a dozen wire transfers of large sums of money to accounts belonging to Hunter Biden.

In an email released by the House Oversight Committee Wednesday, a Bank Secrecy Act manager raised concerns that the payments did not appear to correspond to "any services rendered," as well as Chinese efforts to target children of politicians. The investigator suggested the bank re-evaluate its relationship with the client.

The payments from China ultimately funded a $40,000 check to Joe Biden from his brother that had been labeled loan repayment, according to House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer, R-Ky. Comer is co-leading the impeachment inquiry against President Biden and has been investigating the Biden family’s business dealings for months.
"We have been monitoring the subject customer due to the PEP designation and observations on the account activity as well as recent negative news indicate this entity to be high risk," the investigator writes in the email.

A "PEP designation" is short for a "Politically Exposed Person," meaning the individual, through their prominent position or relationships, could be more susceptible to being involved in bribery or corruption, according to LexisNexis Risk Solutions.

"Since the initial funding of $5,000,000.00 from Northern International Capital Holdings (HK) Limited on 08/08/17 as a business loan, it was noted that there was no loan agreement document submitted," the investigator wrote in the email.

The investigator noted that the funds in the account had "primarily funded 16 wires ranging from $157,393.19 to $400,000.00," totaling more than $2.9 million to a redacted name and to "Owasco PC—Law Firm in D.C." Owasco was an entity controlled by Hunter Biden.

"These payments were indicated as management fees and reimbursements," the investigator notes.
"We find it unusual that approximately 58% of the funds were transferred to the law firm in a few months and the frequency of payments appear erratic," the investigator notes. "It was also previously indicated that HUDSON WEST III LLC does not currently have any investment projects at this time, which raises further concerns as millions in fees are being paid but does not appear to have any services rendered by Owasco PC."

"Furthermore, there has been negative news regarding the beneficial owner of Owasco PC, Robert Hunter Biden (son of former U.S. Vice President- Joe Biden) regarding allegations by his ex-wife that there were financial concerns about his extravagant spending on his own interests (drugs, strip clubs, prostitutes, etc.) which may put his family in a deep financial hole," the investigator wrote.

The investigator also pointed to more "recent negative news indicate China targeting children of politicians and purchase of political influence through ‘sweetheart deals.’"

That tears it. I've been on the fence about HB all along.

But now I wouldn't vote for Hunter Biden for dog catcher.

If he ever runs for public office at the national level, I urge my forum friends NOT to vote for the guy,
even if he is a Dem. Don't care how good his connections are.

The reason why Comer, Jordan, and the rest of the GOP clown car show want this deposition to be behind closed doors is so they can run out of the room, spew their lies and garbage to Hannity, and totally misrepresent the facts and testimony of said deposition.  Fox tabloid news will attempt to control their narrative by spinning the GQP's lies. Then the deposition will be made public, but no one who views Fox will take the time to read it and discover the truth b/c they'd rather keep their tin foil hats intact.

Hunter Biden has agreed to do the deposition, the same as Hillary did during the Benzagi hearings, but it has to be public so the American public can hear it for themselves.  If Clown Comer or Jackass Jordan tries to force him it'll be appealed.  No one trusts the lies of GQP b/c providing a false narrative, defrauding the American public with their set of alternative facts and misrepresentations is now Fox's new norm.

Besides, no reasonable person who has any common sense whatsoever would ever believe anything Fox reports b/c it's for entertainment purposes only.  Fox's words as given as a defense by their lawyers in a case they settled for lying to their viewers for close to $1-Trillion

I see more deflection form the libs and ignoring evidence.

On deck, this week Jim Biden testifies on the 6th. Then, on the 13th HB testifies. All behind closed doors exactly how witnesses testified to the committee to gather evidence to impeach Trump. Interesting the same group had no issue when Schiff left those closed door meetings and said he had definitive proof Trump colluded with Russia. To this day, he never produced it, yet the media spread his propaganda daily. But CNN, MSNBC, AP, CBS,ABC, WAPO, NYT and CBS are supposed to be trusted new sources.

Schiff lied and the eft leaning media mob did nothing to investigate, they just spewed his lies. You continue to ignore evidence Joe Biden's family sold influence to China, Russia, Ukraine and others. Just an FYI, that is against the law. Money laundering is against the law. I look forward to the testimony of Biden family members and business associates in the future. Comer said he will release the entire transcripts from the testimony of these witnesses, then we can see it for ourselves.
