Concern about the level of officiating
#21
To the full time official discussion, 20+ of them ARE full time, and so far it has not shown any improvement to the officiating (at least from my perspective).

As the article in the OP stating they refs won't be ready as they were late getting picked, I read during the week that all of the officials will be attending what will essentially be an official's training camp sometime during the next few weeks.

I would hope so. They are really going to have to come to terms on this new raising the head thing for lineman. And a few other things. Regardless though, they will never be perfect.

I've given a lot of thought to this issue. I think the coaches need to give the linemen Cialis to keep their head up?

EDIT: Crap, that would be a PID!   Argh

It kind of reminds me of politicians and term limits . On one hand you want new blood with new ideas, but on the other hand you want people with experience who know how to administer a nation. How often do we elect new politicians who couldn't pour piss out of a boot with directions stamped on the heel vs old bastards who have every corrupt f**ker in the bag? It runs along every political party and yet as tribal as we are as citizens we want "our guy(s) running the show.
