Why don't we go after Connor Barwin. Nice edge rusher, starter last year, shouldn't be insanely expensive, and he's a UC guy. Seems like a natural to pull a little something out of this mess.

Yes spending money in desperation on a 30 (will be closer to 31 come the season start) who has been on the steady decline since 2014 ... yeh sounds like the kind of move this shitty organization will make. Probably overpay and throw 8 million a year at him on a 3 year deal.

Letting Whit and Zietler go pretty much constitutes a rebuild mode beginning here now. Unless they get very lucky with the multiple young guys they have either (a) never played and/or (b) played but looked like crap i.e Ced
