Correct me if I’m wrong.
Let’s say there was a guy who lost an election. So Americans did not want him to have power. And that same guy who lost was still in communication daily with party leaders who maintained their power. And all those leaders did whatever he said so he had a massive influence on policy even though he wasn’t elected for anything. And all the things he was directing them to do were not for the greater good, they were only so he could regain power.
Am I all wrong here? Or is that not exactly what deep state means?
