Didn't watch today
#1
I purposely didn't watch the game and it was an amazing feeling. Instead I went to a college basketball game and my team won. I invite you all to do the same. Find something better to do with your time. In fact, I intend to cancel Sunday ticket next year and might use that extra money on a showtime subscription. I'd think I'd rather watch some soft porn than see another year of giggles.

Cheers

I understand, but please allow me to fill you in.  I think today visual aids will help the most.

Things may have changed, but Skinemax used to have the best softcore, but maybe that's changed. Either way, I don't think you'll get it for $10 a month, I'm afraid. Maybe $14.

Are you giving up on football entirely? Even if I walked away from the Bengals, I'd still enjoy the game and would follow someone. I wouldn't let Mike and Marvin ruin the entire sport for me, and I hope you won't either.

What really sucks is that the difference in 3-6-1 vs 6-4 and 1st in the division is 6 total points. 3 points if you add in the 2 missed xp today and the 1 in the Redskins game.

You really can't say that.  You don't know how the games would have played out, had we made those points.  Could have kept the momentum swaying our way, could have motivated the opposition to kick it up even higher.  Not really wanting to blather about what ifs, or what coulda, woulda, shoulda beens.

Point is, we are where we are, and that is who we are right now.  I'm just hoping that this disaster of a season leads to some wholesale changes in the coaching tree around here.

Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations

No not giving up entirely. I still support the team and still root for them. I'm just saying if there's something better to do I'll do that. I'll probably tune in when giggles leaves, or old man Brown bites the dust (no disrespect)

As far as the soft core I was being fasicious. I'm really interested in Ray Donovan. I've heard that's a great show

But it doesn't suck as bad when your team wins :) and although football is my favorite sport, I will say my interest has taken a nosedive. The rules and penalties have made it unwatchable. At least in other sports the rules are clear as day and there's a nice flow to them

It's not a bad show, but I'd argue it used to be better.

I gave up on Ray Donovan. I thought it went off the rails pretty badly after the second season. Some great acting from Jon Voight and Liev Schrieber, but the writing is terrible, imo.

I did the same thing, except I watched the NASCAR Championship race.  I watched a few minutes of the Bungals, but I could see where it was going, so I watched the race.  It was a good one, and much better than watching Marvin Screwus coach another uninspired effort.
