The weapon went off about 20 minutes into "13 Hours," a retelling of the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, that has become a favorite among Tea Party supporters.

Earlier this month, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump rented out a theater and gave Iowans free tickets to see the action flick.

Director Michael Bay has said the film isn't political and the movie doesn't feature 2012 Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, but others have noted that it seems marketed towards conservatives.

Last year, Regal Cinemas updated its admittance policies to include the possibility of bag checks after a shooting in Lafayette, La.

Many states have a law that says even if you have a carry permit (concealed or open) that you can't carry while intoxicated. A quick google search determined Washington is not one of those.

I'm just wondering why the author turned the story more towards the movie, instead of focusing on the background of the dorkmeister.
