My sisters are a bit like this, at least they were after they came back from college.

Joe Burrow is the right guy to build around not just because he is the best QB prospect in several years. It's also because he's a leader. He exudes confidence and confidence is contagious.

Bingo. We need more players like Mixon that have those infectious personalities. Whit had it. But most of our best players for years; AJ, Geno, even Andy, just don’t have that trait.

I've had a theory for awhile now that the Bengals were intentionally drafting guys that were passive personalities, perhaps because they're more loyal and easier to keep and partly because passionate players like Dillon and Pickens had burned them in the past.

Andy, Gio, Leon, Geno, AJ and even Whit to an extent were all "good soldier" types.

Btw, another potential suitor for Andy just popped up:

Hmm...that’s interesting to think about. They did let Zimmer bring in some big personalities though with guys like Pacman and Burfict. But as far as drafting, yeah, only Mixon really comes to mind. Maybe Dre.

Pacman and Burfict were Marvin guys through and through. I don't think Zim had a problem with them, but Marvin wanted them here badly. In fact, I remember beat writers mentioning that the front office overruled Marvin when it came to the releases of Pacman and Maualuga.

This front office is completely ignorant when making any and all "Proper" decisions..
Eff Duke Tobin and the horse he rode in on..

Because he got benched on his birthday?

Unless you’re a woman or a child, birthday’s have little meaning, particularly in the business world.

He won't regret it for even 1 minute when Burrow is throwing for 40 TDs in a few years.

There might be a team out there picking outside the Top 10 that may decide Andy is a better fit then whats left after Burrow and Herbert are gone, and they might not be sold on Tua making a full recovery in 2020 and need a guy who can keep them competitive until Tua is 100%.

Someone can and will trade for him for the short term especially with his low contract. The benching actually made him better to trade because he ended season uninjured and playing pretty well all things considered. I would be happy with a 3rd round pick, anything better is just gravy.

That's what I hope happens. If we can get a trade done before this draft, getting another 3rd in this draft loaded with OL and WRs, would be whip cream on the pumpkin pie!

yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if someone brings him in as a quality backup as well maybe a contender that will take on a pretty cheap contract for the security of a year their pressing for a championship.  I wouldn't be surprised if the Titans consider him if they're not sold on Tannehill because let's face it that guy is getting so overhyped it's almost the twilight zone.

Regretted it? He put Finley in to lose enough games for us to get Joe Burrow in the draft. It will go down as one of the greatest coaching decisions of all time...... Rock On Rock On Rock On

Yes, but Zimmer can handle those personalities well, other coaches can't.

Not hard to read between the lines there. They want to trade Andy, but he's saying it won't be for peanuts and it has to be a situation Andy is comfortable with. That's the respect level they have for him. Obviously if this talk is going on, it looks like we're a lock for Burrow. Not that this will shock anyone.

idk   We traded Up for finley last year...     I think we are just going all in now.
