Eifert Asks Santa For Super Bowl Ring
#1
Eifert has a league-high 12 TD passes, but he doesn't care about individual glory because he just wants a Super Bowl Championship, so he sat on Santa's lap like a little kid and asked for one:

Quote:Just like he would have as a kid, the 25-year-old Eifert walked up to Santa Claus and sat on his lap. Never mind the fact Eifert is now 6-foot-6 and 250 pounds -- he's probably the biggest kid ever to sit on Santa's knee. Anyway, while there, Eifert did what all kids do with Santa Claus this time of year: he gave him his Christmas wish list. Apparently it isn't a very long list. According to a photo he posted on Twitter and Facebook late Tuesday, Eifert only wants one thing this year.

He wants a Super Bowl ring.

Carrying a 10-2 record into Sunday's key AFC North showdown against the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Bengals are just one win away from clinching both a division title and a playoff berth. If they keep winning, they could earn one of the AFC's top two seeds, giving them a first-round bye and a favorable setup for a Super Bowl run. Put it this way, Eifert's request isn't that farfetched.

As for Bengals fans, they're hoping Santa Claus can give Eifert a healthy neck this weekend. A stinger the tight end received two weeks ago held him out of last Sunday's game against the Browns. It's uncertain if he'll be able to play against the Steelers.

I know that it's not exactly hard work to sit on Santa's lap and has no chance to injure his neck more, but hopefully this is maybe a small sign that he's returning to normal with everything and becoming fully healthy.

It would be huge to have him against the Steelers, who seem to struggle against tight ends and give up pretty many yards (731) and a lot of touchdowns to them (8).

Kroft seemed like he was in the game more the past two weeks, even though he only caught one pass in each, and I think that him and Eifert on the field at the same time could do some damage.

Anyways, it was just a feel-good story and something that got me thinking about football more!

Steelers are going to come in The Jungle and get their asses handed to them!  Time for a season sweep!
