Andre Smith G/T 30 I think we need to hold on to him with a team friendly contract. That is, unless we make a splash in FA (which I think even Mike Brown realizes we need to upgrade our line).

Cedric Peerman RB 31 He is solid on special teams but I think we need to understand his value here. The only reason he is still here is because he is good on special teams and is a locker room guy. If he is retained for what he is worth then I am all for it but sometimes a change is necessary.

Chris Smith DE 29 He has flashed well and he can be signed for cheap.

Eric Winston RT 34 See Andre Smith. League minimum contract - see what he does in camp.

Jeremy Hill RB 25 buh-bye.

Kevin Huber P 32 He is definitely worthy of a contract. Give him a 2/3 year contract and let him retire a Bengal.

Kevin Minter LB 27 I think he is worthy of keeping going into camp, unless we use a first round pick on (I am a biased UGA fan) Roquan Smith.

Pat Sims DT 32 It is time to see what the depth chart has to offer. Pat Sims is a huge dude but its time to let him go.

Russell Bodine C 25 We need to upgrade this position. I don't care of Mike Brown puts on some pads, we need to upgrade here. Then again, maybe our new OL coach can right this wrong.

Tyler Eifert TE 27 I think Eifert will be back next year to a very team friendly deal. No matter where he signs, it will be team friendly and low guaranteed money. But I think he will be back.

AJ McCarron QB 27 I don't foresee McCarron here next season.

Huber's a no-brainer. Sign him. I can't imagine Hill, Bodine, Eifert, or McCarron even wanting to come back to Cincy. I'm good with Andre, Peerman, Winston, and Sims coming back, but it wouldn't break my heart if they or the Bengals chose differently. As for Minter and Chris Smith (all of 'em, really), competition is a very good thing. I read all the time about "team-friendly" contracts, and just don't get it. IDGAF about how much any player makes. It's Mike Brown's money, not mine.

Andre Smith G/T 30 Keep...  Was one of our best OL last year can play 3 spots in a pinch as a backup

Cedric Peerman RB 31   Keep till someone knocks him off the roster...

Chris Smith DE 29 Keep cheap deal...   He kinda disappeared as Lawson appeared.

Eric Winston RT 34 Cheap 1 year deal to get him to camp...  Let him help mentor a young guy into taking his job

Jeremy Hill RB 25 Gone... but even he knows that

Kevin Huber P 32 Keep

Kevin Minter LB 27 GO----- This guy was just plain BAD everytime I saw him on the field.

Pat Sims DT 32 Go if we can replace....  Young guys seem to be taking over.. Bring back McDonald.

Russell Bodine C 25 Keep cheap team deal as a backup center/OG  New blocking scheme and new OL Coach never know he could turn around.

Tyler Eifert TE 27 Depends on Price,...  If he wants Top TE dollar let him go to someone elses IR

AJ McCarron QB 27 - Unknown let him test the market... might come back dry. if RFA a 2nd round tender will be high enough to make sure he stays.

Andre Smith G/T 30 Gotta keep for depth...im interested with Andre and the new OL coach.

Cedric Peerman RB 31 later dude.

Chris Smith DE 29 it was fun but later.  MJ played well inside and solid outside.

Eric Winston RT 34 probably should keep but LEAGUE MIN fo sho.

Jeremy Hill RB 25 Id pay to have him go.  get the heck on.

Kevin Huber P 32 Keep.

Kevin Minter LB 27 Absolute Trash. Bye.

Pat Sims DT 32 better in FA but wouldnt mind it.

Russell Bodine C 25 Please i beg you upgrade this position.

Tyler Eifert TE 27 like john ross i think we should just move on now.  later dude.

AJ McCarron QB  27 RFA ?  Retain then trade prior to the deadline.

PLease just let minter and hill go and i can find happiness in any other situation.

Andre Smith G/T 30 - Since he's our best OT presently, I presume we'd want him back. Of course, who the hell knows what Mikey boy is thinking.

Cedric Peerman RB 31 - Nope, injured too much.

Chris Smith DE 29 - Yes, did ok and was upgrade from before.

Eric Winston RT 34 - I hate to say yes because he's soooo over the hill, but he happens to be our second best OT. We won't re-sign him cause no one else is going to offer him anything and he'll be available during the season if Ogbuehi continues to suck, which he will. Of course, if we draft an OT high then all bets are off.

Jeremy Hill RB 25 - I'd love to keep him, but he's already said goodbye. Team is not interested in having a good OL, so what's the point in having 3 good RBs?

Kevin Huber P 32 - We will re-sign him because Mikey boy is comfortable with him.

Kevin Minter LB 27 - No, a liability much of the time.

Pat Sims DT 32 - No, replaceable. If replacement does't work out he'll be available cause no one is going to offer him a deal.

Russell Bodine C 25 - Seriously??? No, we shouldn't bother, but we will, and we'll over pay him because Mikey boy will pay him as a low quality starter where as any contract he might get offered will be for backup money. Again, Mikey boy is comfortable with him.

Tyler Eifert TE 27 - Nope, just injured too much and someone is going to offer him decent money and it shouldn't be the Bengals. But, then again, who the hell knows what Mikey boy might do. He's done weirder things.

AJ McCarron QB  27 RFA ? - Yes, and we'll give him a 2nd round tender. It's a guess as to if anyone will match the offer and send a 2nd round pick to the Bengals. He could be back with the team next season.

Here's what I'd do:

Andre Smith- Resign

Chris Smith- Resign

Kevin Huber-Resign, but less than he's now or I go college kid, punters are replaceable!

Tyler Eifert- resign to a 1yr prove it deal or let walk.

AJMac- 2nd round tender!!

Extentions:

1) Geno Atkins

2) Carlos Dunlop

3) Tyler Kroft

Let Walk:

1) Adam Jones
