Final Mock - Happy Draft Eve!
#1
JAWAAN TAYLOR
R1 11th Pick: Jawaan Taylor, OT Florida 6'5" 312 lbs.
Bengals get a starting tackle. Will be immediate upgrade over Hart and could possibly develop into starting LT once Glenn moves on. Will be able to move Hart to a backup role, where he would be on any other team. Better run blocker and decent pass blocker. Called both 'nasty' and 'road grader.' Is compared to Andre Smith. Excellent combo of being experienced (34 starts for Florida), young (only 21) and talented.

Mack Wilson
R2 10th Pick:  MACK WILSON, LB Alabama 6'1" 240 lbs.
Three down linebacker day 1 that the this team desperately needs. Comp, per NFL.com, is CJ Mosley. Finally got a linebacker to lead the defense. Love to see him start next to Preston Brown.

Amani Oruwariye
R3 8th Pick:  AMANI ORUWARIYE, Cornerback Penn Stadte 6'2" 205 lbs.
Big, long, and 4.47 speed Corner. Would be able to press WhoDre to be better or be benched. With WJ3, Dre and DD and this cat, we have a damn good cornerback unit and will have a replacement once WhoDre moves on. Bengals defense finished last in multiple categories last year. Wilson and Oruwariye help turn that around.

R4 8th Pick:  ANDY ISABELLA, WR UMass 5’9” 188 lbs
Short and long speed at elite level. 4.31 40 at combine. Beat Curtis Samuel in championship track meet. Can get uncovered in hallway closet. He’d be an excellent addition to offense. Adding him to Dalton’s existing weapons – Mixon, AJ, Eifert – the offense could really go to another level. Rams played with a 4 WR more than half the time in Zac’s offense. AJ, Boyd, Ross, and Andy would make an awesome corps of receivers.

Khalen
R5 11th Pick:  KHALEN SAUNDERS, DT Western Illinois 6’ 324 lbs.
Excited to see him fall this far. (If he isn’t there Bengals could take DT Daylon Mack at this spot.) Quick, powerful and athletic (does back handsprings at 324 lbs). With Glasnow returning with ACL tear and Geno not getting younger, good to invest in young DT with a high ceiling. Should make the roster and find his way into a rotation early on. He got to play against NFL talent at Senior Bowl and dominated his competition.

Jacob
R6 10th Pick: Jacob Dolegala, QB Central Connecticut  6’6” 240 lbs.
NFL arm strength. All-time leading passer at Central Connecticut. Starter quality ceiling but will need to develop to get there. Needs to have experience playing with better talent around. He’ll push Driskel to get better or Dolegala will be the Bengals backup QB. Would be exciting to see a Bengal QB throw the ball out in front of Ross for a change.

Benny
R6 25th Pick:  BENNY SNELL, RB Kentucky  5’10” 224 lbs.
Compact between the tackles running back. He can be a back up to Mixon and be the 3rd RB. Not a change of pace back but we have Geo for that role for at least one more year. Not a homerun hitter either but is a downhill tough grinder who has a nose for the end zone.

Oli
R6 37th Pick:  OLI UDOH, OT Elon  6’5” 323 lbs.
Another small school project. Massive developmental tackle with good feet. Will need to develop and will probably do first year on the practice squad. Even with Taylor in the first round, Bengals will need more help at the tackle position with Hart needing to be replaced right away and Glenn can only have a couple years left.

Burr
R6 38th Pick:  BEN BURR-KIRVEN, LB Washington  6’ 230 lbs
NFL.com says, “Small, hyper-instinctive linebacker who plays with ‘clear eyes, full heart’ and consistently punches above his weight class…” Well said. 94 solo tackles his senior year. If doesn’t make starting lineup he would be a monster on special teams.

Zach
R6 40th Pick:  ZACH GENTRY, TE Michigan  6’8” 265 lbs.
Solid both in passing game and blocking that comes with massive size. Said he can even pack on more muscle on his frame. With time he could develop into a starting TE but should immediately serve as a red zone target for Dalton. Eifert and CJ will allow Gentry time to develop and I’m exciting to see how he comes along.

Anree
R7 10th Pick:  Anree Saint-Amour, DE/OLB Georgia Tech  6’3” 244 lbs.
Good production and fun tape to watch. 12 TFL, 4 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 47 tackles this past season. Lawson is recovering from torn ACL, Willis needs to come improve or move along, and Dunlap isn’t getting any younger. Good to get a player like Anree who could develop into a good player.
