G.W. Bush No Longer Silent : Shreds Obama’s Failure When Dealing With ISIS
#1
This article is a JOY to read.

From the accusatory tone of how the "left" and the "media" treats President Bush and then turning around to call President Obama names throughout, to the pure example of how the GOP does things with no recording and no notes but a story that gets written based off of a memory, to Bush's simplistic (supposedly) answer that explains all you need to know with what was wrong with his "strategy" in the first place.

Quote:A lot can be said about former President George W. Bush. The Left is constantly taking jabs at him, calling him names, and questioning his intelligence.
The Right is seemingly embarrassed to be associated with him. Even President Barack Obama joined in by spending the first six years of his presidency, blaming the former Texan Governor for anything that went wrong.

One thing that is rarely mentioned, however, is that G.W. Bush maintained the dignity of the office, and was a class act.

Even after leaving the Oval Office, he could have defended his legacy by pointing out the fact that many of Obama’s complaints and criticisms, like the worsening of the economy, were thought to be a direct result of Obama’s trillion dollar stimulus packages and extremist Liberal policies.

Bush has not criticized the president’s seeming desire to be a Hollywood star by appearing repeatedly on talk shows, comedy shows, and now a survival reality show where the goal is to keep the president alive in the tundra. He hasn’t complained about the hypocrisy of the media hounding him for spending vacation time on his ranch in Texas while the Obamas rent out entire floors of luxury hotels all over the world, spending more than a billion dollars of tax payer money so that one family can “relax” from all the stress of fundamentally transforming the country.

In a closed door meeting with donors, that involved rules of no note-taking, and no recordings, attendees claim that the president was finally critical of the Community Organizer in Chief, and the his failing War on Terror.

According to the donors that gave an account of the message to the New York Times, Bush discussed the flaws in Obama’s Iran nuclear deal, explaining that there is “no transparency in Iran.” He explained that the leader was not elected by the people.

In regards to the War on Terror, Bush said that when you make threats, you have to mean them. America’s allies need to know where the U.S. stands.

Obama became a worldwide joke a few years ago when he declared a “red line in the sand” in Syria, but kept scooting the line back a little further over time. In the end, the president tried to say he never said anything about a red line.

George W. Bush said that America’s plan for terrorists bent on the destruction of America should be,

Quote:“Well, you kill ’em.”

Compare that with Obama’s efforts to not offend moderate Muslims by refusing to acknowledge the self-proclaimed Islamic elements of terrorist organizations, and the assault on the 2nd Amendment. Compare that to the administration calling terrorist attacks on Americans, “workplace violence.”

Compare that to the Obama administration protecting Muslims from “anti-Islamic rhetoric” directly after two Islamic extremists take the lives of 14 innocent civilians. Compare that to Obama going to France, less than one month after the Paris terrorist attacks that killed 130 people, and saying mass shootings only happen in America.

Fifty years from now, historians will see that for eight years, America was ruled by a clown, but it’s not going to be George W. Bush that they will be referring to.

I gotta ask. Are you complaining that a right wing blog is being one sided, and maybe not perfectly sourced?

No.  I am not complaining at all.  I'm sharing an example of one side not understanding irony.

I'm quite sure there will be a post, very soon, showing how the other side is just as bad.

But also that if this is indeed what Bush said it gives credence to him not being very smart.

It was an enjoyable read. And pretty much on point on everything.
