Gary Kubiak could be back in picture

This is the problem with not being able to hire coaches until after they're eliminated from the playoffs.

Teams that aren't looking for a new head coach don't need to wait before they begin assembling their staff.

just gotta believed the coaches he wants have been contacted and if they really wanted to work with him they wont accept other offers.

Well, that's the question. Does Taylor already know exactly who he wants to work with? I assume he'd want to interview a few people, right?

So are you now telling people they're candidates and to stick around for a maybe job? It just seems odd that teams that don't need new head coaches get this head start in hiring new coordinators compared to the teams that presumably need the best coaches (ones that have to build an entire staff from the ground up).

I think this would be an excellent scenario for the Bengals.

Would like Kubiak probably more than anyone else for OC.

If so their contracts must be up because teams making it to the Conference Championship aren't likely to fire their OC/DC's.

Dolphins haven't officially hired any assistant coaches either, but they are at least interviewing some that you got to assume was on the new HC's list.

Bengals can at least start that process assuming Taylor already knows them and doesn't need to interview them.

Maybe they are and it hasn't leaked.

While "terrified" was probably a little dramatic, I do fear they are being overly cautious. They haven't had to do this since 2003 and who knows if they really know what all teams get away with doing. They just lack the experience, since Marvin was forced to keep most of the staff already here at that time.
