Giants on Eli Manning: "we'll likely keep moving" with Eli Manning
#1
I think we could offer the Giants a trade, yeah it would be a longshot dream, but I think it's better than what we have. Eli has had great performances and and poor performances but he is better than Andy Dalton. I want to trade Andy for Eli. I think we would make a run with Eli. We could still draft a guy to groom, but i think this could be a awesome trade.

... What? Why on Earth would we do that? I'm not super high on Andy like some, but I think he's a bit above average. Why would we trade a young QB with decent mobility, a friendly contract, and has shown the ability to play extremely well, for a near-40 Eli Manning? How would he survive behind our line?

This team isn't making a run yet, and does not have the pieces in place to have a guy like Eli come in and succeed. This trade makes zero sense.
