When you have more freedom you have to be ready for some things to happen.   A little gun violence isn't a big deal.  Gun free zones are the issue here anyway.

Sadly this board copes the size of the font that is copied and pasted.  Sometimes there are multiple sized font int he same response.

But you are saying you just ignore anything outside of"proper" font?   Hilarious

All three of those are links.  And even AFTER I told you you didn't read a single one yet managed to squeeze three NRA/GOP talking points into one sentence.

What a joke.

You seem to be the only one who regularly has ridiculously sized font. You either frequent sites that are made for those with cataracts or you regularly adjust them. Either way I don't care but I am on my phone most of the time and if the font is insane then I just pass on by....

I did read them but stopped when I saw China complaining about gun violence. You basically posted the Debbie wasserman Schultz talking points memo on guns.

If the links are orange then why are your posts multiple colors? See some yellow too.

I want us to have a lower rape rate and you jump me for it by bringing up things no one was even talking about?

cut of the dong of any man caught for committing rape. Evidence required

Crime will go down Zero Repeat offenders.

Then they will vote to change them, right?

Since this has been in the news it is an obvious choice:

Steve Avery spent 18 years in prison after being convicted of sexual assault.  The victim identified him...twice.

He didn't do it.

The DNA proved it.

Will we sew his dong back on then?

Edit: I understand where you are coming from, but a mistake like that can't be reversed.

So you don't think they have popular elections in all of these countries?

I actually thought that was the point of most of your posts on this subject.

Like that makes a difference. We may elect a president who is a liar, who as the Secretary of State used to work for a liar, who's husband is a liar.
That argument is strawman.

My comment was not a straw man.  Lucie claimed that citizens of these countries can not change anything through free elections.  I just pointed out that he was wrong.

Well since this thread was brought back up. I wanted to point out that I usually like to do the /100k thing as well.

BUT, when dealing with different countries/states laws and there is no universal way of counting rapes.  It's really hard to make any accurate comparisons against another country/state with a different set of laws even when we use the /100k rate. It is not an apples to apples comparison.

I can tell you this though.
According to the data from 2010 that fred is talking about, Denmark was ranked back in the 30's for rape. As of 2015 reports, they are on the verge of entering the top 10. So unless there was a drastic change to their laws in the way that they count rapes, then the only other thing that could truly have made that much of an effect is migrants.

Ranking doesn't tell me anything about the rape rate.  It could just be that the rate is going down in other countries while not increasing at all in Denmark. Please post the numbers.

I also need to see the difference between '10 and '14 before there was any flood of refugees.  It could be that the natives are just raping more and not the immigrants.

Why should I have to posts links backing what I say?
You rarely ever do.

But who would want the United States to be more like a country that has far fewer rapes and provides health care to all the rape victims? Rolleyes

Where was your link backing your claim?
