Good for you Coach Zim!

Also, are we not allowed to discuss past people from the organization on these boards? Especially after we played them and have just started a head coaching search?

Finally, let the mods mod. They'll move it if they feel it necessary.

Exactly. I'm not going to care anymore than M. Lewis does about his team if the mods move it. If they move it cool. If they don't move it I'm sorry for anyone who is going out of their way to make a pointless post.

Not me señor. I'm not the one surprised about where we're at being 5-9. You're not wrong though.

No shame there.  Vikings and Jags are my "backup" teams as well.  Zimmer has quietly built a very solid team, up in Minnesota.  Hoping the best for them, especially since Philly looks vulnerable without Wentz.

Jacksonville is another team that I admire for their style.  They are built strong up the middle on defense, and are building a run based offense with some great weapons in the passing game.

You are the one that created a thread a called Mike Brown an "Idiotic Azz" and then sang the praises of a coach and team that just beat us. I say this has no place in Jungle Noise and somehow I have an attitude.

WTS, it will be allowed to remain here because this moderation team does not have to answer to the team as they did on the Mothership. I just wish they'd start a subforum for Bengal fans,

Not gonna argue. I'll agree to disagree. Leaving it at that.

Vikings became my NFC as soon as Zimmer and Bridgewater landed there. Good for Mike, he deserves it, he should have been named head coach here. It's not his fault MB can't spot a good coach....

You didn't like my thread 8 hours before game time on ZIMMER vs BENGALS and my prediction his Vikings would take Bengals out behind the wood shed and Bengal Fans would be later posting threads wishing we hadn't let Zimmer get away. Now you don't like this person's thread GOOD FOR YOU COACH ZIM !. .....On my thread and on this thread you and a couple others called out for a stronger fan base and more loyal support of the Bengals. That it is time we get over losing Zimmer and be more on the Bengals Bus.  To this I will make a few comments.  As Bengal Fans we don't have to like and accept all things Front Office and losing both Zimmer and Gruden, losing both Jones and Sanu, losing both Zeitler and Whitworth.  As for the Mothership that cast us adrift, this site has been much more positive Bengals than Bengals.com Jungle Noise.  That site was all negative, all the time, and you know it.  Bengals.com had a section above Jungle Noise that was was more positive but few went on it and towards the last year it also became all negative. This was in the middle of the Bengals 5 straight play-off seasons and I felt the sites negativity over board.  It got to the point that I noticed people were posting from Pittsburg area and only posting after a Bengals loss and I called them out as Trolls on that site.  Now for this I was called a Homer and such.  So I don't want to hear how much better the Mothership was.  One of the worst Trolls on that site tried to come on this site early in 2016, I think he went by Toast Jones. He tried to restart his negativity on here and I notice he must not have liked this new site because he left.  This site is far more positive to the point Toast Jones missed all the negative.  So I strongly argue you against the now defunct Bengals.com site as being more positive, and I say this site is far more positive than that Troll infested site.   My last point though is that this site has been more positive, but even the most positive can't accept the Bengals 2016 season of 6 wins and the 2017 season of 5 wins.  As I said hours before the game, people would be on here talking Zimmer after this game.  Now just because YOU don't like that, doesn't mean the Bengals playing ex coach Zimmer is not Bengals related and should be moved to another forum. Also you telling this person to leave and join Vikings site is uncalled for after a Bengals vs Vikings game with ex Bengals coach.  Certainly I would hope those running this site would see these aren't posts about Zimmer in May or June but hours after Bengals played his team and therefore All Things Bengals.

I give you credit for being so positive after 6 win season and in this 5 win season.  Understand however that those of us not happy with Bengals last few off seasons, leading to poor seasons, that we also have waited 17 going on 18 years for a play-off win. It's hard to watch Gruden, Zimmer, Marvin Jones, Sanu, Zeitler, Whitworth on other teams as our Bengals sink to the bottom without them. We too want Super Bowl, not a return to BUNGLES.   Some of the most positive Homers on here including me are not content with the direction this team is going.  My hope is that while they still have AJ Green, Dalton, Atkins, Dunlap they can do what Broncos did in late 1990's after they always came up short but finally put it together with Elway.  I would hope all this talent doesn't end in never a play-off win. I think this makes us positive Homers that we want more than 6 and 5 win seasons and 17 years without a play-off win.  Again, I have to laugh at the very idea that the Bengals.com site had better moderators and was more positive because to me it was totally infested with Trolls from Pittsburg who only came on after a Bengals loss to gloat and rub it in.  I thought it was a lousy site the last years.  This site is far more positive to the point trolls of that site have left this site after not going over as big as they did on that troll site.

Sadly, I'll add Pete Brown just passed away, which I would not wish on any family and prayers to that family. Still, he was the Vice President and Mike the President. We had the dad Paul Brown to sons Mike and Pete. Time and old age is bringing about the next generation in this Family. My hope is they are more modern in GM's and Scouts and whatever it takes to get those play-off wins. The fans have waited 17 going on 18 years now and people even complained about Moses after lost in the desert too long. The Fans deserve better and this return to BUNGLES is unacceptable. For the Fans this Front Office MUST put aside The Bottom Line Profit Charts and understand that it is way past time to throw everything into a Super Bowl team as opposed to a 6 win team. Case in point is a club that last year said they could not afford a Kids Christmas Party after raking in booze and casino money all year. Today they had a Kids Christmas Party and I told them, look at the smiling faces on the kids, parents, grandparents and they will repay their dues and membership will go back up. Don't ever say you can't afford Kids Christmas because you can't afford not to have it.....Now I'll apply that to Bengals. Don't go cheap and lose and go back to crying about empty seats. Quit reading THE BOTTOM DOLLAR computer print outs and FOCUS ON WINNING and you will FILL THE SEATS, and as Yogi Berra said, that's like cash, which is as good as money. I would still love to see Marvin moved up to GM or any true football person as GM in this front office that hasn't had a football person since Paul Brown died. Get this train back on the tracks.

**** Andrew Whitworth. The Bengals made him a very wealthy man. And they offered him the same money on a one year deal that LA did, they just didn't want to sign him for three at his age. So Whit left leaving Andy's blind side to be protected by CO. Whit could have played out his career here by signing the one year deal, followed by another, and maybe another, but he showed lack of loyalty and left. His decision. While I'm not going to really fault him for it, I damn sure am not going to cheer him on.... I reserve that for players who were used and tossed away, like Peko and Burkhead..... and Zim, who should have been given the HC job here years ago.

It's true that the staff here is in no way obligated, or beholding in any way, to the team. IMO, that's a good thing.

Zimmer is brash and confident and outspoken. Mike Brown would NEVER hire a coach like that.

They like passive, laid-back coaches that go with the flow.

That could go two ways....Whitworth stayed loyal to them, and slogged through this shit show not getting the recognition he deserved as a result.  They could have showed him loyalty by cementing his legacy here.  Instead, as usual, Douchebag Brown cheaped out, and Whit left.  **** Son of Paul.
