As crazy as things are now, Americans who were born in the early 2000s are going to be convinced these were the good ol days by the time they are middle aged.

The false flag attack is hardly new, and it's been deployed by many, on both sides, for some time now.  It's yet another reason why waiting for the full story, and proper context, to come out before reacting is so important.

Why do you hate white people!  And police!

And, uh, black women?  Ninja

Seriously though there's nothing new under the sun and these kinds of problems continue because we treat them as bugs in the system vs part of the system.  We have the ability to point them out more frequently and see how they are handled.

But you're right that each generation then looks back fondly on how great "they" were.

LOL there may be nothing new under the sun,

but the issue is not whether Nati's linked stories are new,

rather whether they are becoming more common. I think that they are.

I totally agree about the "bugs" vs "system" analogy.  We need to start tying events together more clearly
and looking for common roots.

E.g. we are never going to adequately address the problem of police violence if we continually explain it away
as a few bad apples. This is not to say we should be assuming that all or even many are bad apples, but
rather what there is about the law and police culture which allows the problem to persist.

Same for racial issues. We'll never get at the roots and persistence of racial inequity by assuming that
it's just "individuals" and "both sides" do it. The bad apple approach is useless here as well, as was
addressed in your thread on "The Truth about Anti-white Discrimination."
