Player B has 12 more games to get the slightly better stats.

I want to give Green props for today's game. He not only made two nice toe tappers, he also made a couple of contested grabs. That is what I have been wanting to see from him. If he keeps that up with regularity he will be a force.

I don't know the exact definition of elite but he put on a show today without even having big catch or yardage numbers.

....or you could say Player B has done it in one less season in the NFL.
But why would anybody do that?

Actually... yes. The only people who get records attached to them are HC, QB, and sometimes Owners (but generally only if they're really good or really bad). Pretty established fact.

Go do a search for "Andy Dalton win loss record" and your first result should be profootballreference where on the advanced passing stats it'll show you his record of 50-26-1.

Now do a search for "Jeremy Hill win loss record" and the first thing that should show will be a Wikipedia page for "Jeremy Hill (baseball)".

Julio Jones
Antonio Brown

It's unfortunate that in a game in which 90 players can play in any given game, 2 of them get credited with the outcome.  It's such an insanely silly idea.

No, you actually couldn't. One more, maybe, but certainly not one less. They were in the same draft, 2 picks apart.

Yeah, I had Dez Bryant on the brain.

Except they're two of the only four who touch the ball basically every play. (The other two being centers.)

QBs are the biggest influence on if a team wins or loses. Just how it is. You see plenty of great WRs on losing teams, you don't see plenty of great QBs on losing teams.

Peyton Manning has seen 2 losing seasons and 14 seasons of 10+ wins.
Tom Brady has seen 0 losing seasons and 13 seasons of 10+ wins.

Calvin Johnson has seen 2 winning seasons and 3 seasons or 4 or less wins.
Andre Johnson has seen 4 winning seasons and 3 seasons of 4 or less wins.

Hate it all you want, but it's reality.
