Hakeem Nicks tried out today

Good article on what happened to Nicks: https://www.numberfire.com/nfl/news/5086/what-happened-to-hakeem-nicks

Quote:So, really, what happened to Nicks' once bright career? After a slew of foot and knee injuries, it seems Nicks' ability to separate, explode off of the line of scrimmage and create plays down the field is significantly diminished.

I'd say both he and Mike Williams are very much worth a workout based on their pasts, but I'd be surprised if Nicks has regained his explosiveness.

It's also safe to note that in 2015 he was healthy and nothing really came about it. Just doesn't seem like he's the player he once was.

He was actually good once. But lately? Just don't see it.

Honestly, I believe the Williams and Hicks workouts are only insurance. If we don't land the WRs we want in the draft, we'll sign these guys and hope for the best.
You can always trust an dishonest man to be dishonest. Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to look out for.
