First or worst in AFCN?

We have the worst luck.
That was a guaranteed loss we could've have used!!!

Doesn't matter. Don't really want to get the edge that way anyway. Not going to help us win a playoff game. We're either good enough or not.

We're probably going to need some things to fall our way to make the playoffs, outside of our control, unless they look different than they have all year. We can't even get a 3 game win streak lol

I wouldn't want to "back up" into the playoffs. If we make the playoffs, I want it to be because we have a no-doubt good shot at being in the Super Bowl. Another one-and-done in the playoffs would just put us back to Square One.

Tiger

They'll win out and host the Monday Night game on wildcard weekend. That game will be the first playoff win in 30 years.

Monday morning what do you think the AFCN standings are going to look like?

Current standings:
Ravens 8-5
Browns 7-6
Bengals 7-6
Steelers 6-6

Monday morning:

Browns 8-6 find a way to beat Oakland with no QB
Ravens 8-6 Packers are much better than Balt right now
Bengals 7-7 I just don’t trust them
Steelers 6-7 Titans handle them

Monday PM (remember, they moved the Browns game to Monday PM):

Bengals 8-6
Ratbirds 8-6
Browns 7-7
Pigs   6-7-1

I think they win the next three and rest their starters against the Browns.  That would be like having a bye.

The steelers and ravens disagree with this statement.

If it goes the way I predict we'll be hosting the Bolts again in a 4-5 match up

That's the matchup I want.

Well, the Browns may still lose this game, and then (as of today) they have to travel to the Packers next Saturday and then to pitt the following Monday.  They host the Bengals the following Sunday.   Either way you slice it, the Browns have two short weeks and one where they travel after the short week.

Ravens 8-6
Browns 7-7
Bengals 7-7
Steelers 6-7-1

I'd give that a 50% chance of being the result.

Then I'd give it a 25% chance of being:
Bengals 8-6
Ravens 8-6
Browns 7-7
Steelers 6-7-1

And then the other 25% is made up of varying scenarios where the Ravens, Browns and/or Steelers somehow win and the Bengals remain in 2nd or 3rd place.
I have a good feeling about this game against the Broncos. This young team is maturing, through trial and error. When they are on,and don’t turn the ball over, they can defeat any team in the NFL.

We'll be alone in first and last place when tomorrow morning Baltimore, Cleveland and Pittsburgh all shock the world and all decide to quit the NFL and form their own professional tiddlywinks league! or maybe a nude competitive slow motion fire walking league instead..

Colts smacking New England around.

Ahhhhhh. We can’t get a break.

San Diego and Indy will be the #5 & #6 seeds.

Let’s hope we can sneak into #7.

Yeah, 17-0 at the half.  Was hoping NE could knock the Colts down a peg and help clear out some of our WC competition.  Oh well, the division it is!  Guess we'll know how realistic that hope is in about 21 hours.
