Hillary PHYSICALLY unfit for presidency?

(08-10-2016, 01:46 PM)BmorePat87 Wrote: Considering I have argued against Hillary and openly endorsed a Johnson presidency before anyone else in P&R, I'm not sure if trying to now just discredit all of this as me being a Hillary supporter is your best course of action.

I owe you an apology. I did have you confused with Dino when I made that claim and the only reason I confused you two is that you both are Ravens fans. So, I apologize or mis-characterizing who you are. No sarcasm; I really mean it.

(08-10-2016, 01:46 PM)BmorePat87 Wrote: I said it was a joke to suggest she was having a seizure in the video but any other health issues may exist as she would be the second oldest president. I then went on to say that anyone who does believe she is having a seizure is either dumb or being dishonest because they hate her.

While that may be true of many, the fact remains that none of us know whether her reaction was intentional or not and it's quite sad that a differing of opinion is STILL considered to be a question of one's intelligence level.

(08-10-2016, 01:46 PM)BmorePat87 Wrote: I proceeded to point out that, despite what you said, your source is very biased and has a clear pro Trump, anti Clinton leaning.

Despite what I said? You mean how I said from the very beginning that the only people talking about this (inclduing the site whose article I used) are right-wingers? Even so, the article itself is as unbiased as one would find on one of those sites.

(08-10-2016, 01:46 PM)BmorePat87 Wrote: Further evidence is the fact that they actually cited Alt Right's twitter in their article. Alt Right is a fancy name put on the white supremacist group within conservatism (I won't call them actual conservatives as that degrades conservatives) that is extremely pro Trump because of his immigration views. Their official subreddit describes them as believing preserving culture is more important than the Constitution...

Again, so what? I disagree with much of liberal ideology, does that mean I can discount everything Obama says?

(08-10-2016, 01:46 PM)BmorePat87 Wrote: She could have health problems, but this is not a video of her having a seizure just as Trump flailing around making fun of a disabled person wasn't him having a seizure.

I'm not saying it's necessarily a seizure, but unless you're a doctor then you can't claim it's not. I had a coworker back in 2004 who had epilepsy. I was "privileged" to be there for 2 of her seizures. One was a full body one. She was on the ground, flopping like a fish (no offense intended, that's just how I would describe how it looked), with her tongue sticking out of her mouth. The other was almost literally the same as Hllary's in the video. I don't know what set her off, but we were in a meeting and all of a sudden, her head started bobbling. It went on for about 5 seconds and then stopped.

So, while I acknowledge it's not necessarily a seizure, I do recognize that it COULD be.

It's a good thing there was more to the story than just a single video. You guys would know this if you read the WHOLE article.

If you want to run with a conspiracy theory level article from a site that admits it's in the tank for Trump, then by all means runs with it. I challenged the absurdity of suggesting her actions were a seizure. I pointed out the biases of the article to give weight to my point that this is a story only being run by anti Hillary sites.

There could be some weight to the suggestion that she does have issues stemming from her concussion in 2012 and I acknowledged that. I just think this video is beyond silly.

I understand why a liberal (or whateve is the correct term for someone 'left" of center) would not be a fan of Pence.

I don't think liberals consider the term liberal offensive, despite certain right-wing and/or super fair and balanced pundits saying the word liberal with as much derision as they would describing a child molester.

Hillary hasn't looked healthy for some time now. She's aging in dog years and there's an unhealthy puffiness in her face. And Trump doesn't look much better.

I'd bet both of them have blood pressure issues.

I won't be 35 until a month after the election, so you can't vote for me.  Sorry.

I read the entire article, read most of the hyperlinks, and read additional sources, also.  This story is just someone throwing shit against a wall to see what sticks.  If enough people repeat it enough times it kinda gains some legitimacy.

For example, there are no facts in that story linking Hillary Clinton to a seizure disorder or ongoing medical condition that would cause the signs/symptoms listed.  They listed some past medical health history and then suggested it could be possibly related to something.  Read the title, "HILLARY CLINTON REVEALED TO POSSIBLY HAVE SERIOUS HEALTH ISSUES AND BRAIN DAMAGE."

Revealed to possibly have.  The author didn't reveal anything, only suggested she possibly might have something.  Possibly.

Do you have any specific questions you want to go over?

Loser talk. Trump keeps saying it's rigged so he can deal with losing and not feel like a loser.

Which pretty much describes how most newstories gain traction these days. Sad, isn't it?

Nope. I got what I needed from this thread: a well needed, anti-Hillary thread on here and much needed relief from boredom.

Thanks anyway. ThumbsUp

Hey, a strawman! Haven't seen one of those on these forums in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time.  Whatever  Rolleyes

It may not have been a seizure, but she clearly bobbled her head INVOLUNTARILY. (There's no way you can watch that and think she meant to do that.) To me that suggests SOMETHING. Maybe nothing to suggest she's physically unfit for the presidency, but still there's SOMETHING there.

Come on man. I don't like her and i can clearly see it was a voluntary, exaggerated bob in reaction to all the questions.

And how can you doubt something from snopes but accept anything at face value from Fox News?

But he's not even trying to win.  If he is, there's a serious case of Elvis/Michael Jackson disease going on over there.

That's what I've been saying all along!

He's so secluded he can't see any time he's ever failed so he thinks everything he does is "winning".

I was talking about the thing where someone with great fame and power is surrounded by yes men and not one of them will put their job in jeopardy and say El, put down the fried sandwiches, Mike, that might be too many drugs, Donnie, dial back the crazy.

And with Trump, if he isn't actually throwing the election, this scenario seems entirely possible.

And I'm agreeing with you.

I heard on Penn Jillette's podcast a story about how a show doing stories about the candidates couldn't find anyone who said they were a "friend" of Trump.

That's sad...because that means there isn't anyone to do as you suggested and get him to tone it down a hair or three.
