We've been a mostly timid team with an acute lack of discipline in key moments for 15 years.

Absolutely it's a culture thing.

The Steelers have developed a winning culture and it starts from the top down. Same thing for the Patriots and others.

People (football players included) do what's expected of them in the big scheme of things. These winning teams have set expectations, and have discipline because of it. Accountability is enforced across the board. Not just against rookies you don't like.

The Bengals fold under pressure because there's no expectations !
