I was a casual fan of Bruce Lee growing up

But I would have been a HUGE fan if I saw this when I was 12-13. Amazing.

I knew a guy who trained with Bruce and wrote a book about him, "The Tao of Bruce Lee".

Davis Miller was a well-known sportswriter.  He was the boxing editor for Sport magazine and his essay "My Dinner with Ali" was judged as one of the top 20 sports related magazine articles of the 20th century.

I met him when he got into a little legal troiuble in Cocke County.  He had some fascinating stories about dealing with Bruce's widow after his death.  He traveled to Hong Kong to interview her, but she was involved with organized crime and he ended up detained against his will for a while.

In his prime Bruce Lee was arguably the most regonizable person on Earth.  He was wildly popular in every culture.
