Actually, Williams played well last year. He ended the year basically graded on par with Nelson (Nelson 29th/ Williams 33rd Safety). So everyone who was mad we let Nelson go can take solace in knowing we basically had the same guy. It was actually Illoka last year who did not play well at all.

Silver lining - hopefully this is a great opportunity for Josh Shaw to emerge as a great cover safety.

Looks like he will miss the entire preseason but he will be ready for the opener. Thankfully it wasn't serious.
