Injuries-week 16
#1
To quote Zac-Joe (Mixon) is fine. He will be getting reps at practice

Awuzie-still in COVID protocol it is up to the virus when he gets back in the meantime he is still participating in meetings.

Kareem-still working his way through the concussion protocol.

edit: Adeniji is practicing

Hopefully Awuzie gets cleared. He should have plenty of time to before Sunday but then again who knows.

It would be huge if Mixon & Awuzie can play.

Adeniji would help as well. Any word on Prince?

Prince is not listed on the injury report so looks like he is good to go.  2 of the 3 TEs on the active roster are beat up.

did not practice:
Khalid Kareem-concussion
Logan Wilson-shoulder
DJ Reader-knee...he hasn't practiced on Wed most of the season so really don't know if the knee was the only reason for the DNP
Drew Sample-foot

Limited:
Hakeem Adeniji-ankle
Morgan Wilcox-toe

Full Practice
Joe Burrow-finger
Joe Mixon-ankle

Good news coming from DJ there lol

Also like seeing Adeniji and Reader is a vet so he doesn't necessarily have to practice just be ready for the game.

The only disappointment is Kareem going through the protocol, loved how he played against the Broncos.

Kareem was beastin' it.

Hopefully Awuzie is cleared, bet he will be, no hurry.

as long as it takes.  The player has to go through various steps including being cleared by the independent neurologist.  It can be anywhere from a couple of days to a couple of months. Cordy Glenn missed 9 games with his

Kareem was in the locker room upright after the game on Sunday. It was loud and bright.  He had players pounding on him after he was awarded a game ball.  He wasn't wearing sunglasses or headphones blocking the noise.  So that tells us that he wasn't overly light, noise, and movement-sensitive which is indicative of a more minor concussion.  But even minor concussions can have lingering symptoms.  So that all boils down to is that your guess is as good as any.

Hearing on Locked on Bengals that they were speculating on the game possibly getting postponed because of Ravens injuries and Covid. Only had 13 defensive players at practice on Wednesday. Would hate to see this because it would then be a 5 day week for us to get ready for Kansas City.

I had not heard that, and I would be furious.  That would essentially take away the home field advantange as well moving it to, what, Tuesday late afternoon?

Harbaugh is a piece of shit and probably making up COVID to try and get guys healthy from injuries.

Man, Fred better be okay game time. He is the main reason I think we can win after his stellar play against the Broncos...

Baltimore's is ugly and that doesn't count the 12 players (+ 5 PS players) on the COVID list. They added 2 more today without taking any off

Kareem is still in concussion protocol but he is on the practice field today so he has made progress.

Everyone else, other than Logan Wilson, is good to go.

Awuzie is still on the COVID list. They will keep testing him until Sunday morning. If he tests negative he is ready to go

Isaiah Prince is healthy and will start at RT

Zac is assuming the game will be played as scheduled

He was back in just 3 days though so he was either a close contact or had a false positive

Fred is ready and they are starting Prince at RT? Not what I wanted to hear, Prince better play way better than he did against
the Chargers or our Offense might be in trouble. Burrow will need time to beat that Secondary no matter how beat up it is and
we can't have penalties on the OL taking away our running game.

Hope Kareem can play.
