This no call came at the end of the game when they were driving down 3 points.

It was close in real time, and the home team got the benefit of the doubt.  The fact he didn't get his other hand into position to make the catch and it doinked off his helmet indicates he probably wouldn't have made the catch, anyways.  

OSU didn't get beat by the zebras.  They got beat because they overestimated their talent level and took their foot off the gas pedal in the 4th quarter.  They should feel fortunate they only dropped 4 spots despite losing to an unranked team and that they still control their own destiny.
