Truck drivers for Trump are threatening boycotting take any loads into NYC due to what they deem election interference. Also, go fund me page started for Trump has already netted over $300,000 since Friday. NYC better hope this boycott by truckers does not catch wind, if NYC could find itself short on basic food supplies very quickly.

They should drive their trucks into some buildings and really show NYC what they think of the way they operate.

I think it is a great idea, a way to voice their displeasure peacefully.

Probably, I just feel like every week there is a new boycott truckers are up to that turns out being a big ol' wet fart of a political nothingburger.  They should just do their jobs and earn their pay and send it all to pay Trump's bills.

EDIT - Wait a minute, they don't have to be peaceful.  President Trump will pardon them.

I thought you all were against cancel culture.

Their “ boycott” will fizzle just like their border protest did

There was a small pack of trucks in Anchorage participating in the protest in a parking lot next to a busy intersection. I pulled up next to them and yelled out "Go Canada!" and they all started yelling "WOO HOO!!" while hitting their loud horns and a couple released their air brakes. When it died down I yelled "Yeah, Canada! Socialized medicine! WOO HOO!" and beeped my horn. They all quietly looked at me and seemed very confused as the light changed and I slowly drove away.

I'd support Canadian truckers blocking NHL HQ until they bring back the Quebec Nordiques.

People leaving their jobs, not working or getting paid, to support the self-proclaimed Billionaire?

Yeah, definitely not a cult.

Next they'll have a go-fund me to pay his fine for him.

Wait...

Apparently these fine people missed when judge Judy pointed out that paying other people's legal fines makes as much sense as doing jail time for them.

Can you do that?  Can 74 million trump supporters all do a little bit of jail time for him if he gets rung up?

Yeah, from my reading of the TOS I am fairly certain that a GoFundMe for that purpose is a violation. Fundraising policy is actually an area with which I have been doing a lot of research in as of late to enhance my non-profit skillset so when I saw this it threw up some red flags.

Why even use a 3rd party site with rules and lawyers and fees and stuff?  Just put $1000+ in cash inside a magazine or book and mail it to Trump. The guy is pretty much competing with Nigerian scammers at this point for the same list of marks.

He's rich but he needs my help. I send him money and it'll all pay off soon. He's the only one who cares about me and he has the worst luck! Yes, my family is trying to get a conservatorship in place.

TOS is for losers.

Or something.

This isn't socialism, it's scratch off lottery tickets come to life.  Bet your bottom dollar on Trump and hope you get rewarded.  Unless the Saudis bail out Trump I don't see this fine being paid off.

Oy the fact that the supposed party of national defense can't imagine putting anyone other than a guy with like half a billion dollars of judgment debt in charge of top secret information is amazing.

Not a bad idea.

I know a guy who can get a loan from who has some of that money already.

What about the goods they have on their trucks ?

Is it theirs or is it considered stolen ?

And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

I findit interesting when those who support Trump and only goal is to get him elected again protest peacefully and the name calling begins, one even suggested doing something violent which of course Democrats applauded when BLM burnt down Minnesota. It is not cancel anything, it is a legitimate way to make a point. They feel like many and the majority of voters in recent polling Trump is being unfairly persecuted.

As for go fund me, again this was nt Trump, it was started by a wealth real estate developer who I would say has legitimate concerns now doing business in NYC. If they did it to Trump (kangaroo court with no jury), they can do it to anyone large or small business.

Trump's supporters are called a cult, deplorable and many names by Democrats. This is Democrats way to stop dividing the country. Biden promised he would unite us, once again he lied.

I fully support peaceful protests.  I am against violence.  I want you to support your favored candidate in the fullest way you can.

I find people leaving their jobs to protest a legal finding against a billionaire funny and a waste of time.

I won't waste time explaining (again) that the lack of a jury was his lawyer's choice/fault.  And if anyone else is being fraudulent they should be scared too.  No one is above the law...right?

You can unite anyone when 33% believe the proven liar and fraud no matter what.

I was interposing sarcastically when I said they should drive their trucks into NYC buildings, don't get all Nately Derangement Syndrome on my jokes.  People can do whatever they like, I just find it interesting that over the past few years there have been multiple "right wing truckers" convoys and protests and this and thats.  Off the top of my head, truckers were going to drive to Canada to protest supposed vaccine mandates, truckers were going to drive to DC to surround or clog up the capitol for some reason, truckers were going to make a huge convoy that would go to the southern border and (?) because they are convinced one political party is leaving that thing wide open, and so on and so forth.

On the possible other side of the coin, weren't tuckers boycotting taking stuff to Florida because DeSantis did something or another regarding migrants?  At any rate, people can do whatever they like, but tucker boycotts have come across as being a whole lot of flash over substance lately.  They're so specific yet common now and I haven't seen much follow-up on what they're accomplishing or derailing things.  Seems like they overestimate participation and then the few people who do go through with it end up milling around and complaining and then heading home.

With this I assume some truckers will refuse the jobs and then others will go all scab on them and do the jobs.  You really have to unite and put your personal gain aside to actually make an effect and we aren't so good at that.
