Only 7 more S.T. games remain and just a bit over a week and it's opening day.

I remember thinking WTF ? when they picked up Candelario. But with the Marte situation and now Friedl being out for 2-3 months its probably a good thing they did.

Looks like it's shaking up as:

1B CES
2B McClain
SS Elly
3B Candelario

LF Steer
CF probably platoon of Fairchild/Benson/Fraley/India??
RF Benson/Fraley

C Stephenson/Maile

DH India/CES/Fraley I still can't get used to having a DH

I have high hopes for this season, it's time to make some noise. Come on pitching staff.

Three of our expected starters out before season begins !! And for who knows how long on two of them. And I'm not sure Lodolo is really full go yet ?

With our luck as Reds fans, this will be the one year where all of the young starters are healthy and live up to their promise while this is the year that they can't keep a healthy lineup on the field.

If that happens and we see headlines of "Pittsburgh Pirates 2024 NL Central Champs", I may just give up on baseball. <---period
