Jackson option
#1
To no one's surprise, the Bengals have exercised their 5th year option for William Jackson III. He is now under contract through the 2020 season

Groovy. It's not going to be cheap to re-sign him, so hopefully they are planning accordingly...

Of course they are. Mikey will set aside cap monies from this year and next to sign him. Of course then they may not sign him and he saved the money.

Mike Brown doesn't "save" any salary cap space.  He always rolls it over.  That is why the Bengals have been able to spend OVER the league salary cap in recent years.

He was happy when Austin was fired. He improved more than any player last year after that mistake was discarded.
