I saw this earlier. Very cool for this to be happening. A coworker of mine actually headed up to NYC for a long weekend to catch some shows and I am sure he and his partner will be stopping by there.

This was a very appropriate decision and is very exciting news. I was stunned when I first learned about Stonewall while reading a book - I had never heard of it before. I would venture to say a lot of Americans have never heard of it, and it just another example of how our media and our schools fail us and how culturally we still have a great deal of evolving to do. But it is great news and since it is Pride weekend in my community it is particularly so.

I wish you bad luck, again, from time to time so that you will be conscious of the role of chance in life and understand that your success is not completely deserved and that the failure of others is not completely deserved either.

This ranks right up there with renaming Mt. McKinley. I really don't care, but if it makes folks happy, why not?
