Joe Burrow - Film Study
#1
I love watching these types of videos. It just makes you realize how hard it is to be a QB in the NFL and how damn good Joe Burrow actually is:

I already started a thread for it.

The JT O’Sullivan one is much better than Kurt Warner’s, imo.

Ball Placement is so very important.

People talk about accuracy and quote the Target/Catch percentage but true accuracy isnt just catches its ball placement and Joey B has a gift placing the ball perfectly and so very catchable.
I have the Heart of a Lion! I also have a massive fine and a lifetime ban from the Pittsburgh Zoo...

Nailed it. Joe has incredible timing and ball placement. Some of his throws are just insane.

I loved how O’Sullivan phrased it…”that ball caught him”

Joe seems to have a lot of those with Boyd in particular.

I hope off camera that Boomer taught Joe how to do his play action fake.  Nobody did it better.  I could only imagine how much more deadly Joe could be with Boomers play action. Tiger

Ii thought it was interesting in his interview yesterday he got asked about watching games on TV, and he said as far as study watching on TV is useless, because you cannot see what the defense is setting up. A lot of couch coaches should probably pay attention to that quote when they want to criticize the play calling.

For sure, of course it isn't even close to the same.

Once in awhile I can see what the D is setting up but it is rare for us couch coaches.

Would have to study coverages for years and even then it is rare for even pro QB's to be great at it.

It is not the same on TV.

One underrated improvement in his play (knock on wood) is his fumbling issue hasn't been an issue this season so far. Even when he was getting battered week 1 and 2.

Didn't learn much there, but was kinda cool to see them together.
