its considered the Super Bowl of Billiards

Since folks come from just about every country in the world to participate I'm going to say no its not a downer at all and one of my favorite events.

Plus pretty darn sure I'm not the Debbie Downer in this forum, so once again no.

Have played my whole life and can hold my own but these cats are on a whole different level. Been going every year since it began about 20 years ago.

Played in it the first 10 years when it was played in Louisville but it moved across bridge and I switched jobs and now I just spectate.

Its just Caesars casino right across river from Louisville. Just assumed it was still New Albany or Jeffersonville but you're correct the address comes up Elizabeth In, so thank you for busting out some knowledge for me as well.

Learn something new everyday and this time it was about a place Ive been hundreds of times.

This event is so big and world renowned that they really do not even advertise locally in Louisville.

It lasts for two weeks and most people in town have no clue and every top shot in the world attends this one.

Usually there are events all around the country and the players specialize in their best games. So that means the best one pocket players go one way, the best bankers go another way, and the nine ball players go their own direction as well as the trick shot folks.

This event however plays all three with a huge bonus to the overall champion in points in all three events added. When it was in Louisville at the beginning it was made to get back to the original form of hustling. It was the only known gambling event they had and it became an overnight success.

Back then there were signs hanging everywhere stating "No, no gambling" unless playing tournament game. These dudes were throwing 30k apiece up on top of the lights and locking horns round the clock. the tournament back then was awesome but from midnight until 8 the next morning the gambling room matches were even more fun than tournament.

They remodeled that hotel and it went across the bridge for a few years but once the casino seen the revenue they're making off these gamblers and their backers Caesars has locked it up for good and never letting it leave and they don't allow the public gambling on tables per wanting them all to hit the tables, and they do.

Not as fun as it was before but still an incredible event and never miss attending.

Wow, would love to go to this someday. Sounds like a fantastic time. I am a pretty good banker but those trick shot dudes
and gals blow my mind. That is what is so cool about Pool, women can be damn good too and beat your ass. We definitely
have an advantage on the break but they don't miss either.

If I lived where you did I wouldn't ever miss attending myself. They allow liquor?

We are winning the Super Bowl. KC at KC will be the hardest we face and we stifled the Chiefs to 3 points in the second half. Where do I order my SB gear?!
