John Ross at CB?
#1
did anyone see the post (I think Cincy Jungle) that the Bengals considered trying John Ross at CB?

Interesting and outside the box, however was this because he looked lost in the offense?

With all that we truly have to give him a shot on offense when he's 100% healthy..otherwise its not fair to label him this early. Also from the sounds of things Marvin wasn't fond of him from the get go.

First lets hope he gets healthy soon and see what our new HC has in store for our 1st Rounder.

Keep him at Wide Receiver. Just check out this season's highlights:

It's the Bengals. Does anything surprise you?

Typical half assed journalism. The Bengals looked at him among other WR for emergency because half the DBs were hurt. Similar to how other receivers have had to do the same for other teams. Julian Edelman had to play CB for the patriots because they were so injured...

It's a complete nonstory.

True, it is a non-story.  However, if Ross caught a single pass as a WR this year people may not have been so willing to accept the possibility that he would switch positions.

Nice use of Badfinger for his highlight video, by the way.  They could have included his excellent route running on the single route he ran to pad the thing out, though.

John Ross did play CB at Washington so he would probably be our best WR/CB.
